Holy sh&t.

Sembeidia totally changed his way of life for Heroes.

You don't get any skills per level like EVERY OTHER PALLADIUM GAME. You have to go to school to learn skill programs. For 2 years(or a year and a half depending)

While that is realistic....why did he change the system. You know what! whatever! That just means I can learn all the gun skills I want from the Biggest nonhuman Gun-nut this side of the horse head nebula.

Can 22 learn some weapon skills from Fal?

Yeah, I noticed that too a while back. It is a pretty drastic change when it comes to how skills work. Not sure why he changed it.

Well the heroes rules are one of the oldest books, so maybe it was made before he had a set system?

What is so worth saving here? My home world is in dire straights as well

Save the earth! It's the only planet with beer!

On that note, can Fal also pick up skills from the internet or just revelations in his over active intelegence?

Honestly, if that was your only argument, I'd vote "destroy it, beer is gross". Then I would remember that Earth has Baleys and would relent.
PS. Nice analysis and use of the situation by Gantu.

XD it was on a T-shirt I saw and it's the first thing I thought when i read that =p in the end my vote would be the same as yours....

I too am impressed... How soon exactly is Kira planning on getting this terrorist killing operation underway? hopefully before or shortly after Fal is done what he's building.

Took me a long time to put out that post. I was really thinking it over. Keep erasing things that sounded out of character.
Still wasn't really happy with it, but I was trying to get scaerie on board the 'Demon war train' as expediantly as possible.

Yeah, I was like, Well I'm going to join, but I need a good reason to postpone the fight back home... The welcome I got was less than convincing. But to be expected.

Yeah, out of character I was thinking "this will only complicate things...", but I really can't see it having gone down any other way given my character's personalities and the situation. Unfortunately that means they won't be fast friends, oh well. The sword doesn't even like Kira, apparently it has some history with an alternate version of Kira.
Awww, and she won't even offer her services in helping Kira fix his stone. Gantu never said for her to fix the stone (as she seemed to interpret it), but simply to help Kira find a way to fix the stone. In order to do that, she simply has to be capable of offering "help".

As for linking with the sword, Kira thought that it seemed like a good idea at the time. He actually thought it might be in control and that by reasoning with it he might diffuse the situation, not get attacked. Understandably neither the weapon nor the girl wanted to be separated.

Hmmmm, I thought Infeari and Asv. were in an alternate dimension/pocket thingy. I didn't think they came with us to Pittsburgh, I thought you just put them in that thread to simplify things. Are they actually there with us?

I can take that now!(Wait....I might have been able to take that before....)
Since Jack the Ripper was one of our villains(our only villain actually), I feel the need to point out some JtR related news I just learned.

If I'm not mistaken, JtR's zone of murder was White Chapel, London a predominantly Jewish neighborhood.

On the news today, I heard, and I quote, "-Lives in London's White Chapel neighborhood, a predominantly Muslim community."

What? I realize it's been awhile since JtR's time, but what??? How is a neighborhood named after a christian place of worship mostly Muslim?

Weird.

(I don't have a problem with it, but I saw something funny and ironic and decided to point it out)

So I haven't heard anything from the GM about skills... do we have to take 2.5 years out game time to learn new skills or can we take an OCC that closest fits out chars (Which for most would be merc or something) and use their skill gain chart? Cause I'm done Fal and Dee but I wanna know if either of them get any skills cause there are several i want for Fal and a few coud be useful for Dee... Okay I'm ALMOST done Dee... Just gotta find the right books... -shudder-

Also blowing up the foundry already would be counter productive in the extreme XD I love the contrast... Fal (uber tech!) Asv and Infaeri (magic and hexes!)

Kira: Sad face at Jasmine's comment. "Nobody likes me..." *cries*

Beowulf: "You brought it on yourself by being such a dick."

Kira: "Hey! That's not fair! You made me evil!"

Beowulf: "I guess I did, and I did a good job of it too..."

Kira: "Sure did."

Beowulf: (silence, crickets chirp)

...

...

...

Dukat: "Hey, I'm told the French have great bread, cheese, and something called 'champagne', anyone want to go to France this weekend?"

>.< I'm sorry. I tried to prevent a second 'Basement Incident', but looks like it's pretty much a given now.

Sigh.

Anyway, Let's rock this house!

What? You guys are getting attacked in the basement again? It wasn't me this time, I swear!

Or maybe you are going to have fun testing out your new powers on Kira? A reverse basement incident?

Pffft, You are below 22 now. He would not stop to try to kill someone as low as you....wait no, you could still probably take him. Nevermind!

Well, it might be difficult for Kira to kill 22. He certainly would have a very hard (nigh impossible) time in straight one on one combat. Fortunately, Kira's immortal and generally opts for stealth and one hit kills or assassinations instead. The way power ups are going, he may have to drop a tactical nuke or a planetoid on 22 to hope for a one hit kill though.

PS. 22's already regained 2 of his 3 lost PE? Good on ya!
