Here's how we're going to resolve prowl checks: The prowler rolls a d20 with a +1 bonus to his/her roll for every 10% to their prowl skill. The NPC(s) attempting to detect the prowler roll perception with his/her usual perception bonus (or penalties). In the event of a tie, the prowl is unsuccessful. The GM (me ) can add additional penalties or bonuses to either roll as situations require.
