I know ya'll love my made-up cards, but I find myself in a sort of dark alley here. You know, these last few days I've been lacking the inspiration needed to create cards, so now I come to you, asking for help (yeah, even God needs help here and there ) So, tell me of anything original you can come up with, and I'll make cards for that criteria. It could be a theme, a new game mechanic (preferred ), or anything you come up with and I deem original enough to put to practice! And, if we ever make it, you could have your idea implemented into our Custom Card Game! |

I have an idea.. a new breed of hero cards, but with something extra to make them powerful... make it so they have combos with other cards and combos with each other... What I'm saying is: Combo with other cards: D-Hero Captain Tenacious = Ring of Magnetism + D-Shield = All attacks re-direct to someone who cannot be destroyed Combo with each other: Crystal Beast = 4 in S/T Zone.. summon Pegasus, which lets you summon Carbuncle = you would be able to bring out 3 more crystal beasts from S/T zone So what I'm trying to say is... cards that work together so well, it would be very hard to defeat... but not broken! |

So, has there been any progress in this Zapico? Or are you still thinking the way round it? Or have you just been too busy lately with your own life |

I have an idea!!!! What about, we download YVD 9.0 PRE-final, and then, we change the name to DAIO (Duel Academy Island Online) then, we use only made-up cards... so, we make up our own set...and make attachments, and whatever in a post, where you can download the newest update... i dunno how to do images... well i do, open up Adobe Photoshop/ImageReady then open up paint. select the picture you want from internet/PC/Mobile/Whatever, then copy it onto paint, then copy it straight from paint onto Photoshop/ImageReady (I dunno why, but you can't copy it from internet to imageready) now, go to Image --> Image Size and select 40 x 40 (some pictures wont do that, but make sure the smaller one has 40 pixels, and the bigger one has, say 43 pixels... {You don't have to do it, but it makes a better resolution picture} then, press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S (On Imageready, i dunno what it is on Photoshop) so you can save it as a .gif, if it says .png, or something else, change it by closing the save box and going to Window --> Optimize now, at the top of the box it says Preset: [ ] forget that box, underneath it it says Format, make sure it is GIF now, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S again, now it should save as .gif now, choose My Computer, Program Files, Yugioh Virtual Duelling (Or whatever you called it), Images... Now, for your made up cards, you're most likely to make up a pack name, too... so, i did DINO Make a new folder called 'dino' or 'DINO' or 'Dino' it doesn't matter about the capitals... i'd just 'dino' as they all are that... now go into it, and save it... this is the sort of tricky part... Choose the monster name...that'd be, Ultimate Tyranno #2 save it as ultimatetyranno#2 NO SPACES, CAPITALS DON'T MATTER AGAIN, AND YOU ALWAYS KEEP PUNCTUATIONS MARKS! take fusilier dragon, the dual-mode beast.. that has a comma, and a hyphen-... so, you'd save it as fusilierdragon,thedual-modebeast or...take, any random card, like Ojama Trio it's saved as ojamatrio... very simple now... that's how you get images! one more tip is about making up cards, to be in multiple sets... take the format of the card...let's use Draining Shield. |Draining Shield|54;26;38;37|AST;DP1;YSDJ;SDRL|Trap Card|Trap|||||Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters and gain Life Points equal to the monster's ATK.| notice how the numbers are 54;26 whatever, that shows the number of what card it is in the set, right? well, AST;DP1 mean that it's number 54 in AST, and 26 in DP1! so, say you make up a card, like... Dinokens!! |Dinokens!!|25|DINO|Spell Card|Spell||Quick-Play|||Summon on your side of the field, 3 'Dino Tokens' in face-up defense position [Earth/Dinosaur, 1000/1000] Battle Position of the tokens can only be changed by a card effect. When each token is destroyed, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.|0| that's the format... change it to |Dinokens!!|25;113|DINO;AST|Spell Card|Spell||Quick-Play|||Summon on your side of the field, 3 'Dino Tokens' in face-up defense position [Earth/Dinosaur, 1000/1000] Battle Position of the tokens can only be changed by a card effect. When each token is destroyed, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.|0| now, you'll have too! another cool effect on images, is when you have 1 card in two sets, go onto image ready, click Image --> Adjustments --> Brightness/Contrast Fiddle around with that, get a sort of different pic, and then you have 2 images that look different for each set! WOOH THAT WAS LONG! Edited by Jesse, Nov 8 2008, 02:24 PM.
