be wary of amazing chest

Me: My exchange student friend, who's been my next door neighbor for over a year, left for her home in Korea today. I didn't think I'd be so depressed, but I'm pretty sad. At least we have her email.

Last night I had a dream that my children would not be judged by the color of their usernames, but by the content of their posts.

Eh?

Well, in Amiland, you can, if you murder someone, get...killed?
well, death punishemtn
And you often hear about people getting that even when they were innocent, because the police sucked at getting things right.

Well... That's not really anything to worry about. What about the rest of the population? They didn't get the death punishment for something they didn't do.

Trust me, you won't get the death penalty for someone else's crime. I'd be willing to bet the percantage of people that happens to do is less than %0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of people.

"innocent until proven guilty", and the numerous automatic appeals you get when put on death row usually prevent this, but there have been a few cases. By few, I mean very very few.
Extremely few.
So few that it's not even funny.

I'm just going to have Touhou infect everything now

You heard wrong. At least half the states can't even give the death penalty to begin with, and with the power of defense lawyers these days...even people who committed crimes usually get away with it. THAT's the real problem. Innocent people getting the death penalty is practically unheard of, unless you believe stupid shows like "Prison Break". The only way to even get in trouble these days is to plead effin guilty...even then the jury feels sorry for the person and tends to let em off.

Do not click. Do, however, click these at your leisure ('specially for stats): Gero, Terra, Tic, Nys'elni and Murphy.

Me: Death penalty? I wouldn't be afraid of that. The thing to fear about America is unnecessary lawsuits.
