ILLINOIS STATE LAW SEZ...; Not in these exact words, so bleh

yeah

No dancing allowed during the pledge of allegiance.

(Shoot, there goes my rollerdisco plan for the next time I hear the pledge... seriously, though, where the hell did this law come from?)

Teens must pass Health to graduate high school.

(Yeah, we wouldn't want to lose the testicular virility that our governer loves to mention so much.)

PE is a required class for all students in public schools.

(... aaaand how much have some of these politicians even moved lately?)

I'll post more if I remember 'em. Illinois has some ****ed up state laws. The second comment comes from something the governer of Illinois said a while back.

Testicular virility? What a perversion of the awesome term "testicular fortitude".

Also, I hear some state has a law against making love to your wife if you smell like fish or something. And Oklahoma has some law explaining in great detail how stealing people's half-eaten burgers is a horrible, horrible crime.

PE at my school actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was no picnic, but it wasn't a trip to hell (ignoring the fact that simply going to that school was a trip to hell).

I read about a nutty law once for one of the states back east (can't remember which one). Something about the act of wiping dishes dry being illegal; they have to drip dry. I ought to go find that book....

Well, you're supposed to be a certain speed on highways, but most riding animals would be too slow, anyway.

The state you're thinking of is Oregon, and that's west relative to your position. Oregon has also LEGALIZED physician assisted suicide.

In San Francisco, it's illegal to walk an elephant down Market St. Last I checked, it's also legal to go out in public in the nude as long as you don't make an lewd acts or anything. I might be dead ****ing wrong, though.

I think it's Alabama or Mississippi or something, but in one of those southern states, it's illegal to plow a field with an elephant.

Let's see... In Massachusetts, we have that whole homosexual marriage thing...

Also, on a less known note, there is a law on the books stating that if a Mass resident buys something in New hampshire, (Common with Cigarettes, and a lot of things because the nearest mall is 20 feet past the border), they're supposed to pay the Mass sales tax anyway. That's probably illegal, but it's never enforced, except on cars. Otherwise, they can't prove ****.
