I was wondering whether it would be possible or not to change weapon animations, say, to give a regular sword a magic animation, like with the Runesword/Light Brand/Wind Sword, but with a different magic. Is it? Thanks in advance and all that. |

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it is. The only problem will be the half damage thing, but, I'm sure that can be fixed as well. However, it could end up glitchy... First off, don't start with your sword. Start with your magic. Next, edit the magic's type to be Sword, not Anima/Dark/Whatever. Edit the weapon sprite for the inventory to whatever kind of sword you wish. Edit the uses, too, if you want. Just edit whatever. I dunno how to fix the battle thing, but, I'm fairly, not entirely, but fairly sure that it'll sort itself out. |

The only way to give weapons magic animations is if you change the spell to a sword, lance, etc. I am working on finding out where the animation is stored, so I don't have to overwrite the spells. I'm also trying to work out how to incorporate skills like Continue and Sunlight Hit (I've almost got it). Theres actually a lot of stuff I can do thats not in the editor (such as changing the critical bonus), but I'm too lazy to update... |

What I mean y changing critical bonuses is making Swordmasters/Zerkers have +30% (or whatever you want) critical instead of 15. |

Once my project for FESS is done. I can also give you a link to the FE8 Parser once its done. The reason I can't is because I want it to wow people, and not have it be lost in a sea of too similar hacks. I can also give you a program that changes maps too :) |
