I just stopped playing and I have to say that, however much I like HP, this game really annoyed me. In my opinion it's the worst so far. Why? First thing... YOU CAN'T USE A MOUSE! They just copied the console version and modified it so it uses a keyboard. Second thing... it uses a damn 640x480 resolution. Even on my antique 14" monitor it looks like hell. They could have improved it a little. And third... even if you use a gamepad the darn controls still make you a LOT of problems. I've made it half through the game and I haven't managed to do anything with 'character cards'. Anyone done it? |

Well if you think GoF was short, I defeated PoA in less than 11 hours. |

Same here. The thing i hate about the games is this, you do each of your classes (which involves you to solve puzzles, no real magic involved until you "find" a new spell at the end of the level", Then time flies and its the end of the game. Its kind of boring that way. |

PoA in 11 hours? lol... I finished it in 4 hours. As for GoF, within a day, but I don't know exactly how long I spent on it. |

Is the game better than the last 3? I mean do you just go solve puzzles for class then go to the t-wizard events? |

Actually it hardly has any class. And you can only explore certain places at Hogwarts, you can't explore like you could in the last 3. |

The locations for PC are the following: - Quidditch World Cup Campsite (Game starts with it). - Defense Against the Dark Arts (2 lessons). - Moody's Challenges (5...unlocked later in the game). - Hogwarts Exterior - The Forbidden Forest - The First Task - The Prefects' Bathroom - Herbology - Second Task - Third Task - Voldemort At any time in the game you can choose one of the locations, if you have unlocked it (played the levels before it) and gathered enough shields for it. (except for the QWC campsite). |

Me on Goblet of Fire is really plain and simple: I HATE IT!!!! You cant explore Hogwarts and it looked like they reordered the entire school and grounds! The only reason he keeps it is because it completes the collection. But in my opinion they should remake it. |

I have it for my nintendo DS I got for Christmas and Im still stuck in the Forbidden Forest because of those damn lizards/salamanders. Piss me off! AND- Ron just plain sucks, harry has no defense basically just technique in casting spells, so it leave's me with Hermoine who is the little know it all of the bunch, and yet she can't get through it! But I have to say- that Quidditch World Cup Campsite was quite easy.. The Death Eaters suck, and I mean suck! Sorry if this is offending to some. |

I know it can be annoying to play with the keyboard, that's why I recommended playing it with a gamepad (or on PS). |

Okay 'Mr. Hector-I'm the Know it all!' I play on a Nintendo DS, that thin is literally like 5-6 inches wide and 3 inches tall, and my fingers aren't very small they are quite long because I play the piano. And hitting the botton when Ron and Harry just stand there, not helping isn't fun! HeHe! Im a tard.. It wasn't the salamander things it was the turtle jerk!... I can't get him to DIE, and then get like 3 minutes past him. I killed him one and used his shell for the help but thats where I got kinda stuck. |

I just got the game for christmas for PS2 and it's so easy! my lil bro was playing it and he's 7!!!! We plaed two player and we got pretty far! I keep getting frustrated cause i have to do most of the work when Ron and Harry just sit there waiting for me. but sometimes there usful. I find joy in opening up the gates then closing them before they can get in! lol I tried being Harry and Ron, but I find it easier to be Hermione. |
