Kaboom! The floor shook for a moment like a small earthquake. The hanging chandelier swung erratically, left and right. The walls of the classroom were either burnt black or had green spots splashed around the surface. The air was filled with a stinky dead fish smell as the smoke blurred anyone's eyesight. A head with wavy hair sprung above the smoke, gasping in the much needed fresh air, before the smoke sprung any higher. Emily quickly glanced around the room, located the windows and ran towards it before her sight is permanently blinded by the gray smoke. Barely, she made it to the windows, but the windows had a small lock on each one. She tugged it hard, trying to break it so she could open it, but it didn't work. Pulling out her wand, she yelled, "Alohomora!" With the strength of Emily's determination, the small lock broke in its frenzy attempt to obey her. Quickly, Emily pushed open the windows, letting the force of the outside wind drag the smoke outside. As the smoke cleared, she examined the room carefully to discover the damaged she had done. Chairs were against the wall, broken into pieces as if it had been flung against the wall during the explosion. Tables were on the sides, with its table legs sticking out towards the middle instead of holding the table upward. At the centre of the room was one black cauldron where a steady stream of smoke continue to leak out. Emily slowly approached the cauldron, somewhat afraid that it might explode again. She peered over the cauldron and noticed that the green liquid was no longer bumbling crazy, but calm. "So the mixture of bubotuber and fluxweed is not a good idea. What about leaves from a Flutterby Bush?" she questioned herself. However, the classroom door, which she had locked before she started experimenting, rattled as if someone was trying to open it.
