Muggle Studies Teacher

The mind wanders into curious ideas, one might say. Curious ways of thinking that peak the thoughts are those who begin to ponder the mysteries that lie well beyond their own comfort zone and into the abyss that is new possible knowledge. Such is the way of wizards, who wish to pursue the ways of the muggle, studying them closely; watching and waiting for any sign of something they seem to do that differs from that of the wizarding word. Such was the way of the, seemingly delusional man that sat in the tall kingly seat in front of rows upon rows of tables and chairs lined up for his students, even though this semester it seemed the class would be quite small. Vincent laughed a seemingly maniacal laugh as he stared off into the void in front of him, his darkened classroom fit for those who walk the night as he did; even if may be for different reasons for each person who dared tread the blackened road.

His classroom itself held some rather peculiar pieces to it that would peak any wizards interest; a rather complex looking bundle of wires connected to a metallic box, as well as what seemed to be a small flat screened television set…even though that in and of itself would boggle the mind of those who were not used it. His walls contained pictures of rather famous muggle artifacts such as the declaration of independence, Magna Carta, a musket from the early ages of guns, as well as many other oddities that one could wonder about for ages if they never had the chance to experience them firsthand. The biggest wonder however was not muggle made, but wizard made and quite an interesting feet at that; a fireplace that loomed over everything else in the room with its amazing size, a bright never ending emerald green flame burning and cackling inside it, as if enchanted to forever do the bidding of its master. The room held trinkets and fun toys for any wizard to enjoy, yet this fireplace seemed the most welcoming of everything in the room as the dark and depressing lighting, as if by some charm caused by the wizard in his kingly chair produced in order to dim the fire’s light, caused much sadness to those who entered if they came in with a weak heart or a weak mind.

Vince outstretched his leg and grinned slightly as he picked himself up, now taking a step forward with his already moving leg. He made his way to the mantle of the fireplace, staring up above it to see his precious hand cannons sitting above in a mounting, yet ready to be pulled down if needed in an instant. He knew he wouldn’t, but the idea of a blood bath excited him and he just couldn’t help himself. His ring glowed a bit as he waved it once and the mounted weapons became shrouded with a barrier, now inaccessible to Vincent who had wished nothing more than to finally let himself go and raze the school along with everyone in it. Yet he knew, deep inside that his true emotions would never forgive the crime and he really wanted to fix himself in the end.

‘Can’t ruin the first class. It wouldn’t be fun if I did that. No…must be good so I can make amends for my time here as a student,’ Vince thought with a calm smile as he walked over to the completely out of place green chalkboard sitting next to the only light in the room and picked up a piece of pale yellow chalk. After a few moments he set the chalk back down, finished writing what he wished to get across to his students coming in, now making his way back to his seat. He placed himself back into the chair and waved his ring once more and the chairs for the students coming in become smaller versions of an assortment of kingly seats.

‘Wands on the mantle of the fireplace. Pull out a quill and a piece of parchment and in a small paragraph write what you think you’ll learn this term in Muggle Studies. Discussion once class has started…so be ready.’

((You Don’t actually have to write the paragraph as then the discussion would be quite boring so just post your entry to class and then we’ll begin. At least 1 post this class as it’ll be short and I’m giving 2 days until class starts as it’s the first class and should be fairly simple. So, Wednesday at 2:30PM Central))

Don't get him mad!-----

Ian slammed the door of his father's office. He was off to his first class of Muggle Studies- Shouldn't be anything too hard. He thought as he walked to the staircase. His father had been preppin' Ian for this class since he found out who was teaching it. Vincent Valentine- Zander knew him well, in fact, Zander liked the guy, but he did know that Vince was nobody to mess with. And he knew that he had to tell his son that. It was Ian's choice whether he was to listen to it or not.

Finally on the first floor, he hunted out the classroom-- it wasn't too hard, considering it was right by the corner stairwell. Walking over to the classroom, he peeked around the corner and saw the professor- Ian had met Vincent Valentine probably... nine or ten times... when he was younger. Back when Vincent was still a student- Vincent and his father are near the same age. And a handful of times since he'd been enrolled- but never had he communicated with him in terms of an elder- at least, in the terms that he should have.

Stepping into the classroom, Ian shouted to see if there would be an echo. HELLO! He gave a soft laugh as his voice rang gently- not as well in the classroom as it did in the hallway behind him.

Walking over to Vincent, Ian extended his hand, In case you've forgotten... it's Ian. He gave a nod. And observed the blackboard. Taking a seat, he whipped out a sheet of paper and scribbled away:

In this class- Muggle Studies- I think that we will be learning about muggles. But to be more specific, I think that we will be discussing their mannerisms, activites, and other factorials.

On the bottom of his paper, he doodled a little muggle stick figure- and began tracing his letters-- waiting for the class to begin...

It was not so early in the morning and Desiree was still sleeping in her bed, dreaming about things not very many people would dream about. Her dreams caused her to trash in her bed and not thinking Desiree rolled over and fell out of her bed and landed hard on her bottom. Waking and sitting up she groaned and rubbed her bottom that was beginning to become sore, “Why can’t I wake up normal for once?” She asked the deserted dormitory as it seems lately she’s been falling out of bed instead of getting out of it. Desiree got to her feet and pulled on her shirt and sweater vest and slipped her skirt on, socks, and her Mary Jane shoes on and went in search of her house tie. She found it hanging off her bed post grabbed it and slipped it on. Stretching and yawning she walked out the room but not before she grabbed her bag and wand and tucked her wand into the inside pocket of her robes she had just put on.

As she entered the common room she to noticed that it had been deserted and she figured everyone was up at breakfast and she made her way out of the common room and into the Great Hall to grab some breakfast herself. Taking a bite of some bacon she grabbed her timetable to see what she had this morning and saw that it was Muggle Studies and saw who the teacher was and thought his name sounded familiar where did she know that name from. Then it hit her he was a student, how weird to have a professor that use to be a classmate well not wanting to be late for this class she finished her bacon and eggs, grabbed her bag and set off to the first floor classroom.

Desiree entered the classroom but she didn’t find it empty another student had arrived. It was the same Gryffindor (or as she now knows him as Ian) from her Quidditch class, he was sitting down at a desk writing and wondered why and she looked up and saw the instructions. Smiling she walked over to a desk sat down and pulled out a piece of parchment and her favorite glittery purple ink and sucked the end of her quill and wondered what she should write about.

I think this term we’ll not only be learning about Muggles but also some of the products they use….like hair products and also the daily item they use for like cooking and the more dangerous things for killing other people without the use of a wand….

That was a good start to her paragraph and she finished her paragraph in no time and kind of stared at Ian as she watched him work. It wasn’t any special look she was just kind of watching him it was something she did quite often, but then again that look was as if she was marking someone her prey. Mentally slapping herself she turned her gaze away from him before he noticed her staring at him and sighed looking to the front where the professor was, she completely forgot to introduce herself. Getting up she walked over to him extended her hand “Sorry Professor for not introducing me its Morris, Desiree Morris.” She stood there with her hand extended waiting for him to take it before she returned to her seat and possible continue her staring at Ian or more like people watching as he was the only person in the room (for now) other than the professor.

Cali rolled over in bed. Not yet ready to get out she wiggled down more into her comfortable bed. She was warm and comfy. But once more her alarm went off making it impossible for Cali to be happy in her bed. Rolling over to shut off the alarm and get out of bed. She saw she had time to actually get ready before heading to class. She went about her room picking up her black leggings and her long blue baby-doll tank. She then grabbed her usual ankle black boots. Grabbed her wand, and said a spell to curl her hair, then she put her wand in her right boot. She then quickly did her make-up, natural style. Once she was done getting ready, Cali grabbed her notebooks and her books for class she had that day, while also grabbing her bag to put everything in.

Running out the door, so she could make it to class with some time to spare. Walking up the stares to her class on the first floor, Cali found her class rather easily compared to her other classes. She walked into class and saw that there where two other student there already. The same two who are in her quidditch class. She notice that they where working on some kinda of paper. Wondering what they where doing Cali looked over at the bored, and sighed. 'Of course we have to do an assignment even before class actually starts in this class...Oh well at least its just a simple writing assignment about what I think I will learn from this class' Cali thought to herself.

Cali walked over to the mantel and lifted her right leg up, she pulled her wand out from her boot and placed it on the mantel. She then turned around and walked over to the teacher. She gave him a smiled, but then looked at him with a quizzled look. "Hey are you that guy I met out by the lake, in the tree? Anyways I am Cristyna Ashleigh, but I also go by Cali. You can call by any of the names..." Cali whispered to the teacher, so as not to disturbed the other students from their work.

After talking to the teacher, Cali went to a desk sat down, and pulled out a piece of parchment paper, and her quill, with her small ink bottle. She dipped her quill into the ink bottle and started to write....I believe, in this term, we will learn how muggles, act, and how they think. Why the react to things in life, how they deal with problems, problems that we solve with magic, but they cant. We will learn about their technology, but most of all we will learn their simple, but every day life style.... Once Cali had finished her assignment she set her quill down and looked around the class room at all the muggle items.

Just to put it out there, Cora didn't like school. She didn't like attending classes, she didn't like the work and she usually didn't like the people. Cora couldn't wait to graduate for the simple reason she didn't like other students. They were annoying and stuck up. Everytime someone knew the answer to a question, they'd enthusiastically put their hand up like its the most important thing in the world. Ew. But if they're not the enthusiastic bunch, they're the bunch that thinks they're better than everyone else. Double ew. Yes, every student was a tool, and Cora couldn't wait to disassociate herself from the lot of them.

What class did Cora have? Ah that's right, Muggle Studies. She knew that hating muggles was something of a pre-requisite to be in Slytherin, but sometimes she wished she had a simple life with no magic. Think about it, when you're walking down the school corridor, there'd be no need to worry that someone will say one word and give you the biggest pimple in the world on your nose. Damn wizards, thinking they can just do what they want.

Cora walked into Muggle Studies. There were about three other students in the classroom, and what a dismal lot they were. She went and sat down at a desk in the back, not acknowledging anyone on her way there. No introductions, no need to get to know any of these poisonous people. Oh but, hello. 'Who is this professor? He's kinda a hottie. Maybe I should go introduce myself.' Cora thought. She got up and walked over to him. "Hello, professor Valentine," Cora said with a smile. "My name is Cora Dylewski. Yeah, I'm of Polish descent, hence the last name. Just shows you how exotic I really am." Cora gave a subtle wink to the professor and went and sat back down.

Amazing, this class just got added to her list of favourites.

The class began to fill, the darkness began to feed and become much deadlier; those with a weak heart would soon topple under its pressure. The room began to seem much harder to stand as Vince’s mind wandered off into his own little world; ready to begin the torment upon himself he had oh so desired. The affliction caused by the pestilence plaguing the corridors upon corridors lined with rooms filled with the torture devices one could use to demolish their very souls and create a demon within. Vince cackled loudly, the thought of torturing himself and others around him filling his mind with large amounts of dopamine; his body now lifting itself up as he stared forward at his students, the blood red eyes hidden behind deep yellow tinted shades.

“Ian Shanks…” He said, slowly falling back down to earth; recalling the world that had once held him close, now pulling him back again into its warm embrace. He walked over to the young man and waved his right hand over him, Ian’s wand now flying to his fireplace for further use. “You’ve gotten bigger. Good, make sure Zander receives my condolences, it’s been so long since I’ve spoken to him.” Vince chuckled slightly, now walking away with a small grin as his towering presence made its way back to the woman further back, hiding in the back watching others around her. Vince waved his ring once more, sighing as her wand flew away to the mantle of the fireplace. He looked down at her with a slightly less interested look than Ian; however the feeling had been just the same. “Hello madam. At least you’re the only one who hasn’t tried to converse with me passed introductions. I hope that doesn’t mean you’ll be quiet though, that’d just be no fun,” Vince said with a now warming smile, completely flipping his seemingly dark personality, showing he could sometimes also be kind.

Moments later, Vince stood in front of the third student, another hufflepuff he had met a few days earlier by the lake. “Hello again. I told you I would come get this job. Hope you have fun…” Vince said with a sly grin, now walking slowly away; his demeanor changing once again to suit each person in new ways. He stood still for a moment, staring over to the last student, the slytherin in the back and the only one to completely disregard his instructions. He waved his hand once more, the now extremely bright blue light shining the entire room from the quickly moving arm of Valentine; the last one’s wand now taking its place with the rest. “I see you are very confident in yourself to confront someone like me in such a way. Confident…or maybe just unknowing of what I’ve done in my past. Maybe you should meet Headmaster Shanks and ask him why I have to be watched while I teach, he might tell you,” Vince said with a small maniacal chuckle as he made his way back to his chair.

He turned around to face his students, removing his shades to reveal the eyes behind them. He bowed deeply and then spit on the ground. “Most of you understood what we’re doing today…however only one could follow the complete set of instructions and part with your wands.” Vince said with a sigh, now looking around the room with disappointment filling his eyes. He turned to the mantle and looked at the pile of wands that lay there, sad that students of this level could possibly miss such simple instructions. “Even though it was a simple task, it was a task none the less. Therefore, since only one could perform it, I think its only fair to reward her. 2 points to Hufflepuff, for the ability to read every part of a blackboard,” Vince said as he looked down and shrugged his shoulders…wondering if he was really going to be cut out to deal with the students of these days. He turned around and had a sudden smile on his face, contrary to his last thought; now feeling excited and ready to take on the class.

“No wands. No items at all from Hogwarts. I will ask you bring your wands and place them on the mantle of the fireplace so I don’t have to search for them at the beginning of class. Next class we will not be in school uniform, nor will we be in uniform ever again in this class. As for parchment and quills, leave them behind if you can, I have sent the house elves down to your dorms to stock your supplies with muggle lined paper notebooks, pencils and pens, not to mention a spare set of clothes should you only have robes on you.” Vince said with a grin as you began to unravel the class; it would be no ordinary class…oh no, he just wouldn’t be able to live with himself if it was. Vince walked up to Ian and ran his hand across the desk, smiling and wondering what they thought of the idea; even though he didn’t care much and would still hold it as standard for the rest of the term.

“Anyway, I won’t spoil the rest of the class just yet…that wouldn’t be any fun now would it? Anyway, everyone I hope you’re ready…its time to discuss what you wrote. I want to know exactly what you think we’ll be doing in this class. I’ll open the floor for discussion to whoever is willing to go first,” Vince said with a small chuckle of pure enjoyment, ready to hear what kind of ideas his students had in store for the class; more or less wondering how close they would get to the truth behind how the class would truly be run. He walked back to his seat and slowly fell into it, laying his right leg graciously over his left; now clasping his hands together and waiting for the students to begin.

“Don’t be shy now…let’s hear what you’ve all got to say, I want to know!”

((Sorry this will have to be short but i need to attend class fairly close to being on time))

Tristan's eyes flew open and the hazy scene soon adjusted. He had slept? Slept? SLEPT?! And it didn't seem like 4 am. No, not 4 am. But the morning had a particular feel about it. Something wasn't right. He tapped his fingers on his chest as he stared up at the ceiling. He glanced to his left and nobody was there. He glanced to his right and nobody was there. But at least there wasn't any signs of struggle (other then the usual unkept beds looking as if a teenage boy had slept in them, so yeah, struggle) or blood so no murders had occurred in his sleep. His feeling must have been a false paranoia, so he swung his feet on the side of his bed, stretched, and picked up the watch he wore every--

"Damn, really?" he cursed to himself as he slipped the watch on his wrist and quickly began to change in a button up shirt and tie with jeans. No sweater or cloak could easily be pulled on as he rushed from the room. How could he have overslept? He had known taking the nap during the day and then staying up late would effect his sleep patterns, but he never believed it would lead to tardiness. He shook his head and grumbled as he made his way swiftly to the first floor. Again, he found himself shielding his face with books against the harsh sun that burned his sun. With every new glimpse of sun, his energy level feel slightly but he could tell the difference. It did not take too long to reach the class because he had just been around here for his very interesting Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Professor Keel. Who was this Professor? he attempted to recall as he quietly slipped through the door and sat in the first seat he could get to without being near the sun. At least these chairs were comfy.

Clearly class had begun because the professor had just asked the students to read out loud what they had written. He slipped up from his desk and placed his wand on the mantle before taking his seat. On his way back he saw only one familiar face: Desiree. He flashed her a smile before sinking back in his seat and taking out the necessary materials. He finished reading the board and flashed his hand into the air. "Muggles, obviously, but rather their lives and environment that is so different from our own," he offered, trying to make up for the time lost because he was late. "Tristan Ilux, sir, but i go by Stephen," he added with his late introduction.

Cora smiled at the reply the professor gave her. "Ahh sir, I know you wouldn't want to infringe on your code of conduct as teacher, I was just merely having a bit of fun." Cora said playfully, then added a wink on the end. He may be all professional now, but Cora knew she could, and would attempt to, get to know him on a less professional basis. Much less professional. She gave another smile to professor Valentine, a smile of a premise of accomplishment.

Cora was sitting at the desk, zoning in and out of her thoughts and reality. This cycle kept going on when she overheard that there was work on the blackboard. 'Huh? Work on the blackboard?' Cora looked over and saw that yes, there was in fact work on the blackboard. She hardly ever looked at the blackboard, and that is perhaps why it completely escaped her attention. 'What do I think I'll learn? What is this, divination?' Cora knew she was trying to get the attentions of the professor, but she wasn't about to go start doing pointless work. Not like Cora really ever did any work anyway. No, she was happy just to sit here and do nothing.

This cycle of zoning in and out continued, when Cora heard that wearing muggle clothes was permitted. Now, she accepted that some items of muggle clothing were completely horrible, but there was some pretty good stuff as well. Some short, tight, fitting stuff. 'Well, I know what I'll be wearing next lesson.' A devilish smile appeared on Cora's face. She put her legs on the table and leant back in her chair with her hands on the back of her head. Cora zoned out yet again, thinking about whatever willed its way into her conscious state of mind. First and most prominently, thinking of plans on how to get the professor...

Vince smiled wide, reaching from ear to ear with a devilish excitement. He stared forward at the man in the back, knowing quite well the kind of things that might become of someone so daring to walk into class late and expect no punishment. Ah, young ones these days and their idea that the world around them will stop moving for them. Vince sighed at the other students, however as they had shown no initiative in the conversation and now Vince would have to pull teeth, metaphorically speaking in order to spark life in his students; obviously not caring for a class they probably did not even care to take in the first place.

“You’re enthusiasm excites me…Stephen was it? I was told about you this morning, so tell me…why sign up so late? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and not dock all the points for lateness, however you did not sign up today and had expected my class so I will keep some to myself,” Vince stated with a semi-serious tone as he began to chuckle, clearly ready to enjoy himself through this whole ordeal. He walked over to the mantle and examined the young man’s wand, as well as the others; absorbing the images in his mind so that when next class met he would be able to sniff them out if need be. Turning around and disappearing, Vince appeared behind Cora moments later, with his blood red sword drawn and held by his side.

“Code of Conduct? I live by no code,” Valentine stated as he laid the cold steel on her shoulder, the sharpened blade near her delicate neck, as if readied to strike; even if he had planned to do nothing, but show how he could really become. The sword suddenly disappeared, laying in its place upon a mount on the wall, next to right hand cannons he held so dear to him. “I have an idea for you. My office after class, I’ll show you some things most people have forgotten,” Vince said as he disappeared again; reappearing in front of the class, a ring that had been sitting silently on his left hand, index finger now lay in his palm. He looked forward and hoped they would understand what it meant; yet he knew none of them would ever know, so he would have to explain either way.

“First off, I give 2 points to Slytherin for initializing what this class is about. Secondly, this ring is special. I created it 5 years ago after I graduated, when I was eight-teen. It is not like my other ring, as that one is my wand. This one is my hope for the muggle world. It can do things muggles have been researching for years and it has been creating using only muggle works.,” Vince began to explain as he slipped it back onto the finger it belonged; craving the hand of its master such as some ruling ring, even though it had no will power of its own. “This class will be a firsthand experience with muggles. And this ring will make sure I can keep you in line if you prove yourselves immature in how we are going to go about learning. And that is through personal research ourselves,” Vince said with a lunatic styled laugh, his idea thrown out to the whole class for them to know. The class would hardly ever be in the classroom itself and the genius had been revealed in a sense. Vince grinned at the idea of letting them all know and now it had been time to do so.

“Ever wanted to see the world the ways muggle see it? Ever wanted to interact with them and find out really how they tick? We’ll be doing that in this class. I’m sure you all noticed the green flame in the fireplace; it’s a special floo network I had been allowed to create in order to transport the class anywhere we wish to go. As for where we go, however is up to you. And I will get to that later. For now, I want to know from you guys, what do you want to learn about? What interests you most about muggles? What do you want to see?” Vince ranted on for quite a while, getting ahead of himself at times as he began to promise much for his class that no other teacher had done before. A class that never is in class, trips to a world pure-bloods had been unfamiliar with. A study beyond simple texts and class activities, a real study that promised more learning behind it than any other promised before in the terms of Hogwarts. Vince would bring the wizards to the people and with it, the understanding of the muggle world would come. However, we knew the possibilities of failure if he didn’t take precaution, which is why he mentioned his ring, which without question, would allow him to punish those who attempt to blow the trips for the class. Vince sat back down into his chair and stared off into his class room, waiting for a reply on what the class wanted to do in the class.

((If a few more than two could post this time before I go again, I'd appreciate it. ^^ The class is pretty short so it should end after my next post, next class should be a bit longer.))

Cora was daydreaming about eating some raspberry cheesecake, oh how she loved that stuff. She mentally noted to herself to go down to the kitchens later and grab some. Perhaps some butterbeer aswell. Or a total pig out. Cheesecake, chocolate, icecream. Yum. 'Geez Cora, tone it down. You don't want to pack it on.' She thought with a little disgust of herself for desiring all these things and more. 'Okay, cheesecake and butterbeer and leave it at that' Cora made another mental note to herself. All of a sudden, she heard breathing behind her.

Cora almost very nearly jumped out of her skin. Professor Valentine told her that he lived by no code and then proceeded to place the sword near her neck. Cora could feel her hair stand up and took a sharp intake of breath. She didn't breathe, couldn't breathe. Was Cora frightened? Truth is, she was kinda excited by what was happening. He then told her to come to his office after class. At this, Cora was celebrating on the inside, although she her face stayed neutral. Professor Valentine's office after class eh? Wonder what could go on there...

The professor asked the class what they'd like to do in the muggle world. Cora finally decided to become an active participant in the class and chimed in. "I always wanted to go to a movie theatre. It is apparently a prime source of entertainment in the muggle world and I'm a bit curious about it all." Movie theatres were something Cora was genuinely interested in, and was quite looking forward to the time she'd first go to one.

((Listening to Harry Potter Puppet Pals as i write this should help me:D))

Tristan carefully watched the Professor as he smiled at his tardiness. He felt a creepy vibe explode from the man who lead the class. "You were told about me? I'm curious, what was said?I couldn't decide if I wanted to take the class until last minute. With the schedule changes I was thrown off a bit. I apologize for my tardiness and won't let it happen again." Tristan's eyes narrowed at the man who examined the wands on the mantle. He took in the man's scent as the man took in the figure of each wand. He had heard of the many Dark attacks on the castle and began to question the man. Of course, his senses heightened and he clenched the table he sat as the man appeared next to a student with a blade in hand. What kind of teacher threatens a student with sword? he questioned. This class would indeed be interesting.

He sat up straight and on edge as the man kept talking. His disappearing act made Tristan's senses tingle. If needed, he could move fast enough to leave but the man's disappearing may trump his vampire movements. The match would be difficult and not easily predictable. Stop thinking of beating up your teacher, your male ego is growing too big. Zip up the pants. Tristan sat back in his seat with a more relaxed posture, but his keen senses stayed heightened. "The muggle jobs and maybe the classes they take in class. I hear they have please-officers. What are those?" Tristan questioned even though his mind was still on the events that has passed before him. Although, he was thankful for the points he had earned for his house.

((Expected this class to stop earlier, so I'm going to end it I suppose, it was easy enough anyway))

Vince sighed with disappointment as only two of the students were able to come forward and express themselves, both of which were from Slytherin. He knew the others could cope with such a simple assignment; however they simply did not put the effort to raise their voices and come forth with an answer. He wondered if he was really cut out to be a teacher, standing up and staring at the three who had not answered either of his questions with a disappointed look, even more so at Ian; one of his own house when he was younger. He walked slowly over to them, drawing his sword and running it slowly across his hand; blood began to slowly drip onto the floor, the rush got Vince excited as he ran his long tongue across the cut, absorbing the nutrients of the red liquid into his body.

“In my time, Gryffindors did not stay silent. They were first to answer and took pride, no matter if their answer was right or wrong. And you hufflepuffs, I know they are the most reluctant to answer, but I refuse to accept the fact that you can’t answer simple opinion questions,” Vince said as he disappeared, appearing behind Tristan, his hand above his head; blood slowly falling onto the boys nose, fully aware of the being he was. “Looks good doesn’t it? Don’t be afraid, tastes good,” Vincent whispered to Ilux, now walking up to the front of the room; turning around quickly in order to face his class.

“Slytherin gets 2 more points for being the only house to discuss what we should do in this class. I should deduct points from Gryffindor for one of my students for missing class; however I will not and hope he shows next time. Ian! Make sure Grindser gets his homework; I will only explain it once,” Vince said as he walked over to Cora and ran his hand across her face, the blood, now gushing out in a straight line along her cheek. He sheathed his blade and snapped his fingers, the wand of a ring now healing his wound as he sat down in his chair. “Homework, one more thing to see in this class - This will always be a part of the homework each class. The second part will be something to deal with the class, since this class was only about part 1 I want to do something interesting. I’d like you to send a review to Headmaster Shanks about my first performance. Should he deem a closer watch on me, so be it, but I’d like him to know how you feel as me being your teacher,” Vince said with a slight chuckle, now invisible from the chair he had just sat in.

Valentine appeared at the entrance of the class room, bowing towards the students in an almost oriental fashion. “I want you all to do one more thing for me, look deep down and ask yourselves, can you handle this class? This is definitely not a class I will let you relax in, as I take pride in the works I’ve done in the muggle world and everyone else should take interest in the world around them as well. I don’t want those who aren’t willing to put forth the effort in this class…don’t waste my time,” Vince said with an extremely icy tone, as if to chill the room to a complete halt. The hand cannons on the wall, now flying across the room, now caught in mid air with Vincent’s outstretched arm. He slipped them into the holsters beneath his coat and stared off over at Cora. “Little miss Slytherin, I expect you in my office soon. Everyone else, you can always see me at my office or anywhere else should you please, just let me know. Elsewise I shall see you all next class,” Vince said with a heartwarming smile, now opening the door and walking away; completely finished with the class he had just had taught oddly enough. He walked off into the hall quickly, he body melding into the shadows and disappearing into the darkness of the school as he made his way back to his office.
