"Tactical Gaming Done Right - according to dslyecxi Outstanding examples in current games, areas that could use improvement, and general commentary on the genre." -------------------- Check out this website this guy has made. He's gone into a hell of a lot of detail explaining how tactical First Person Shooters can be made more realistic. Its a long read but its a great site. The real combat videos show just how raw and brutal war is, sux making AA truly realistic would make it not much of a "recruiting tool". http://dslyecxi.com/bestoftactical.html Often seem to be a discussion of, Realism/Authentic/Simulation vs. Being a game thats good to play, and approachable for the average gamer. I like realism, other people just like shooting stuff (yeah, I do too, but I play AA cause its realistic, if I just wanted to shoot stuff, there are plenty of other games) |
