Firstly, mods, if you feel this is the wrong place for this to be, kindly move it. I looked through our forums and found no other place fitting. Browsing some online news articles, and i found this For those of you who live in America you may already be aware of these, for lack of a better word, morons. It is an article by an Australian News show about : "Gun advocates in the United States say last week's massacre at Virginia Tech university may not have happened if students were allowed to carry concealed guns on campus." What are they? Stupid! More guns on campus?! Holy crap. Yes gun control at the campus failed, security failed to prevent him entering. But that doesn't mean you need more people on campus with concealed freaking weapons! I mean. S. H. I. T. are you dumb!? Sorry, but i am angry. I am angry because come wednesday when they started releasing names and photos of the victims, and I got to see two of my friends faces plastered on every freaking television, newspaper and magazine in my country, let alone every one elses, i got sick of everything. Media. Moron's with Guns. THE TWATS SAYING MORE GUNS AND NO ONE WOULD HAVE DIED! Like that would have helped. Instead of just the guy who killed everyone. Everyone would have stood up and started shooting. Before you know it everyone is dead and everyone killed everyone. What the hell would that achieve?! Also, angry at the damned religious people who are giving atheists a bad name because apparently we atheists, "don't feel sympathy for the victims." we don't see cho as "evil" because in our world there is no evil. Holy moly I want to slap them. I have nothing against people believing what they want to believe, but these people who are trying to use the atrocity that occurred to benefit themselves should be shot. I am this close *indicates small distance* to enacting my plan to rid the world of stupid people. ARGH! I'm sorry guys, no offense. But sometimes, the people in your country, and this is the US i'm talking about, make some stupid comments. I know everyone does from time to time, but there must be a high concentration of stupid people with satellite dishes and web cams. This includes you Black, Choco's mum will NOT sleep with you! Sorry! Here endeth Al's rant. I want my friends to be put to rest. My heart goes out to the families of the other victims. And i ask you, my Fort Apache Squad brothers. If someone tries to use the VT massacre for their own benefit, slap them down and say "Al says Hi!" |

LOL. "TOO MUCH CAFFIENE" For the record, not ALL "religious people" are doing what you say they are. Every now and again there are those who weigh in on their own agenda and not the events that have happened in a tragedy. I actually do believe in Gun ownership and enforcing our right to bear arms. I also believe in personal responsibility and our choices and their consequences. Cho had some huge psychological issues and lots of people reacted incorectly on following up the signs that surfaced about him. I DO have a gun secured in my house. I DO take it with me when my family and I are on trips as a form of protection because I feel it is my personal responsibility to protect my family. BUT 60 college age freshman (horny and dumb, I was one...) packing concealed on campus is a little much. "Just another kind word from your local Clan Pastor..." |

I think I said i didn't mean all religious people. And i didn't say i didn't think Americans shouldn't be able to carry guns (although, i think that's almost asking for trouble..but thats another issue entirely). My beef was with the people who, some of which aren't even in the same state, are using this to wage a war of mud slinging and name calling. And also people who are using it as an example of why guns are good! Sorry if i didn't make that more clear, but yes, Not against religious people in general. Just against the one's who think they are God's gift to the human race and want to tell everyone just that. Also, i'm just angry. ![]() P.S. I pulled my steering wheel off my car. Had to get it towed to the people that fix it. They were amazed i had done it.. Apparently ripped a few bolts out of housings. I was still fuming over the stupid person that had almost killed me at an intersection!! P.P.S. Love ya black!

If you read your fist amendment it say something along the lines of "Right to bear arms when the government is out of order, when their isn't a government" or something along those lines. i know it's been in the courts about what the proper definition but if you can't get it right then who can. It leaves alot to be defined and so the war rages!!!! i don't see a bear with bulletproof amour on...... do you!!!!!!

FWIW, I was brought up and trained in the use of rifles, from .22 calibre up to .303. I only ever target shot. I do own a .22 air gun which I used to shoot rates with. I have travelled to over 60 countries around the world, and a couple of reasonably dangerous "conflict zone" type places (Northern Ireland being one) In all that time I have witnessed, no heard, close quarters a pistol being discharged in a street in Johannesburg. I also witnessed the reality of an IRA bomb attcak in central London. I have never carried a gun, and have never felt the need to, despite all of the above. (I have also travelled extensively around most parts of the US, and have found there, a generally pretty dumb attitude to guns and gun ownership - sorry, but that is quite noticeable when you go there) ![]() Gen |

Gun Control: Legacy of Blood Turkey established gun control in 1911. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. The Soviet Union established gun control in 1929. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews and other "undesirables" who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million "educated" people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Gun control didn't make any of the 56 million (that's 56,000,000) people exterminated in the Twentieth Century safer. Gun control simply created millions of disarmed, defenseless victims. "free people are armed, subjects are not! |

So, why does the US, in a domestic non war situation, have the highest per capita death rate by firearms in the world? The Uk has about 1 gun death per million per year, and you can't buy handguns legally here |

That reminds me of a memorable quote from "Snatch": Turkish: #?*& me, hold tight. What's that? Tommy: It's me belt, Turkish. Turkish: No, Tommy. There's a gun in your trousers. What's a gun doing in your trousers? Tommy: It's for protection. Turkish: Protection from what? "Zee Germans"?
