Negima Rulez!

i have known this for a while but i should tell people it the evil side in every soul, it is the fact that everyone is evil, EVERYONE regarless of who you are, everyone is given a moment, a moment were they can do something that is so horrible, cruel, an monsterous that not thousands of other evil people, would ever imagin. the people that we call "evil" are not as "evil" as we think, they just show that they have an evil side and express it. what stops us from doing things of incredible evil? is it law? consequence? or our conceince telling us its wrong? what tells our concence what is wrong and right, is it our brain? is it our brain that see's things, what people do? in real life? in fantisy? are we all hinding our sides of the most devistating evil, from what i brains tell us? now killing is wrong, but why, why is it wrong? did someone think it was wrong, and they told more and more people and eventually it spread like a pleuge that killing is wrong, and is that pleuge of words that says killing is wrong telling our brains to tell our concience to tell us its wrong so we wont do it? and was that not enough? not enough to stop us? so they made law? law with conciquence? law with punishment? people do not bring out there evil, because of conciece? because of law? becasue of what everyone else says and thinks? people do not bring it out, or is it it just wrong? is there positivly no force or thing that stops us but we choose not to because it is wrong? what, what stops us from showing our evil? |

it is not our soul that contains evil it is the flesh, True we all have bad thoughts but what stops you is what is good in you, your concience can be decieved aswell as it is flooded with what ifs during the delima, the brain is still part of the flesh it is the human reasoning in which we use. Law helps us make the decision that it is wrong if our own reasoning and concience can not. If the person goes through with it then the law sets an example and shows other people. Wrong and Right is also the ten commandments, and in nature u see it aswell. Do animals kill in their own? No, not normally unless their is no other option, sure they kill prey but so do we. and it is false to say we hide the evil withing us, for some people it is impossible to be mean, without feeling horrible. The people that we define evil are the ones who act upon it without care, and in turn they cannot be nice as easily as we. So in what you say, what do you define killing as? is it ok to you? and if so why? what makes it ok? you are human you should know what stops you from commiting crimes, its a mulitiple of things and deep down eventually its somthing just unexplainable, it just wont let you. |

Roy, you seem stuck in the preconception that evil is defined by the method of the action. If someone breaks the law, you probably think that that is evil. However, evil is actually defined by a combination of motive and result. Robin Hood stole, while King John tried to catch the thief. However, we all know that it was the latter that was evil while the former was good. The difference between order and chaos is not the same as the difference between good and evil. Also, where does one draw the line? Imagine a tiger downing its prey for food. If its family has already eaten, does that make it evil, or preparation? How many pounds does a tiger cub need to be overweight before evil has occured? |

Laughing gas has a very simple chemical structure, and is deadly in large doses. Even if you don't get a lethal dose, you're going to be disoriented, making it easier to get a lethal dose. I love alchemy. *Insert AntiSloth and AntiWrath buttons here* | |

I don't think evil has a real defination because it is always definded form differnet points of view and when you think about it almost everything can be described as evil if you think about it. The thing is people have differnet motives for things and no matter how unfair it may be it can never relaly be described as evil because of how it can be viewed on a larger scale |

I believe evil lurks among us. It haunts not our souls, but our minds. We want to do evil because it may have some gain for us, e.i. vengance, pleasure, ect. Telling people something is wrong is a way to try to prevent it. Like when we were all young, and our parents told us not to do something. That-sometimes-prevents us from doing it. Or the feeling of guilt or the fear of punishment does. The problem is, of course, humans do not have the power to see evil. What we percieve is bad we label evil, because that is what we are taught. Just because one person labels something as evil, however, does not deem it so. Evil is just too big a concept for many minds to grasp. |

Evil,Wrong,Good, and Right is in the eye of the beholder. If someone kills another person because they want that persons money bad or good?Take that same thing and apply it that the person they killed have killed countless others to have that exact same money is it still consitered bad or good? What is the meaning of Evil? The meaning of evil is the opposite of good. But what do you consider good? The mening of good is different for everybody. You do your homework everyday. Is that considered good?Or is that considered right? Why is it right,is it right because someone else tell you it is right or is it right because you think it is right. You see there is always a loop hole in the perception of good, right, wrong, evil. If you take a seriel killer who have killed 10 people the first thing that comes to mind is that he is wrong/evil.But what if the 10 people he killed have murdered his children and his wife why is that still not considered wrong/evil at first mention. Is the deed he done not the same as before what makes it justified. There lays the loophole in perception.Whe someone goes to trial that person is judged by common people. They decide whether it is wrong or right,Legal or illegal. In short the "Evil inside us all" is not good or bad,it is just a thought/feeling that one person haves nothing more. |
