Heres some reasons not to buy a 360.

8. The games look great, but lack content. One example is Fifa:Road to the World cup, which has less content then the DS version and dosen't actually let you play in the world cup.
7. The Ps3 will be slightly better then the Ps3 in terms of games as well as graphics.
6. Very very very limited backward compatability.
5. Smells like burnt carpet, especially when it does burn your carpet.
2. The price of Xbox live will be rising soon

In response, from an actual 360 owner:

8. If you think they lack quantity, just try playing Oblivion, which is plain old-fashioned massive.

7. The quality of the games is in the eye of the beholder. The 360 will share many of the big PS3 titles (such as GTA), plus a bunch of sweet first-person shooters. The Xbox had better games than the PS2 in my eyes.

6. I wouldn't use all the verys. Sure, not everything is playable, but only two games that I actually want aren't available (Conker and Mercenaries).

5. I've never noticed a smell, nor has it ever gotten incredibly hot. The fan is loud, sure, but not noticably so when the TV isn't on mute.

2. Really? I haven't heard anything about that (not disputing it, just haven't heard it)

I love my 360. Xbox Live is incredible, it already has some great games (I love CoD2 and Oblivion), the graphics are sweet even on the 19" standard I am stuck playing it on. It was so worth the money I spent.

What leads you to believe i don't own an Xbox 360?

8. I have and it's better for PC, really the only good game is perfect dark, everything else is avalable for PC.

7. You must have Glaucoma. i hate the Ps2 with every part of my being but I, nor anyone else can deny the fact that the PS2 had the best games for each genre. while it will share SOME key titles like GTA the fact of the matter is Sony gets better exclusive titles then Microsoft. What, are we going to expect another Halo? If not what, another Fable? Don't get me wrong, the Xbox had it's share of good games (KOTOR, Jet Set Radio Future, Shenmue etc) it still had less then both Ps2 and Gamecube.

6. I should have used more "very"s because if you look at the whole list it only takes up one page, i mean it's not even 1/3rd of the Xbox's library if I'm not mistaken, also thats only if you have a premium console, core consoles have too much difficulty playing Xbox games if at all.

5. Do you have it near a window, or did you buy a special fan for it because 2 have blown out on me after 3 hours of gameplay (the first time) then after 2 and a half (the 2nd time)

i love my 360(ALOT) but i have no money now.see, i got that thing as a gift from both of my parenmts and my stepdad, and money is tight with my family, so i NEVER get anything like that, so now i gotta save for everything i want.I want a DS,a Revolution, games for my 360...An x-box live continuation thing....I wish i had a job...My sister's getting a job soon, so at least she'll be able to get a drivers lisence and drive me to the stores i need.

I understand how you feel, I may not particularly like my original Xbox I cherish it because my father vought it for me, we aren't the most wealthy family so whatever we can get is more than enough. I have all these diffrent consoles and games because I work a terrible Factory job, and have done so since I was the legal age to work. My late Godfather did so as well, he wanted me to be a game Dev (I don't plan to disappoint) so him putting toghter some money with my dad to get me an Xbox (the first one) meant a lot to me.

yea u still get a harddrive
its alittle bigger then xbox that is 320 dollars at someplaces but if u some what buy all the games and want to save and save like crazy then thats y they buy the $400 360's which i think is stupid...I counted all of my games on the regular xbox and i have saved about 57,000 data on it and not yet did it say your running low or says that theres no more room for this game.

Actually I have memory issues all the time because I get alot of downloadable content, I had all the extra Splinter Cell missions, then there was a blackout and my HDD got erased, so I filled it up with a bunch of games I borrowed from my X-Bot cousin.

Also if you buy the 400$ one you're guaranteed less bugs.

I don't know. Pretty soon 360 will have some killer games. It'll bring up popularity.

Around the time I get a 360 will be when it heats up, the 2007-2008 is when people can finally get it without having to be paranoid about their console.

Gears of War, Too Human, and the other pretty cool games all come out in 2007-2008, also by then HD-DVD drives will be built in, on top of that we'll prolly see a price drop. Up till 2007-2008 we're not likely to see much from 360.

Also I can list on one hand the number of good games headed to 360, so theres still a problem, lets not forget that Peter Moore himself has advised people to buy a 360 and Wii, not only that but Phil Harrison, sony's main marketing guy, has told people to forget about the 360 and buy a PS3 along with Wii.
