Special Rules

- The Slot Rule – Every person on the site begins with 4 character slots. You may gain more if the mods believe that you can handle it.
- The Ninja Quota! – I made this rule under the assumption that a lot of people are going to want to be ninjas, since every single fighting game has at least one with a few exceptions. As the head, I think it would be bad if I had five hundred ninjas running around, so I’m going to put a cap of 10 total on the site. This does not include NPC’s. If the site grows enough, I may increase the cap. If you are gone for too long and you have a space in this quota, I’m removing your character to make room. 0/10
- Firearms – As this is a fighting game RP, I’m going to ask the majority of you stay away from guns. Because the majority of players aren’t gods of combat that can catch bullets when they start, a gun gives an insane advantage. So please try and stay away from a pure rifle wielding soldier or gunslinger.
- Time/Space – You cannot, by any means, have any power that manipulates time or space. Period.
- A Stealth Warning – If your fighting style totally relies on not being seen, don’t expect to win any tournaments or things like that. You’re going to have to be seen to participate, which significantly lowers your chances of winning.
- Injuries – Injuries and wounds are real in this RP. You’re going to need time to recover, unless it’s an OOS (Out of story) battle. If you’re in some sort of competition, and you’re too injured to continue, you can’t continue, simple as that.
- Death – You can die, and if you make a stupid mistake, don’t expect to be shown any mercy. Death is real on this RP.
- Training Stats – Since there is no way to raise levels on this RP, you have to raise your stats through training. This may done through any thread, give that it makes sense. And you need to be specific; you aren’t going to build up your punching strength by building up you biceps, you need to build your triceps. You may train either by Basic Training (Working Out, etc.) or Trial by Fire (Actual Combat). A mod will look over a requested thread to see how much points you get.
- Training Techniques – The only thing you can train in a technique is to lower the difficulty. To do this, the stat relating to it must be greater than it was originally. Then you need to practice; either Basic Training or Trial by Fire. Afterwards, a mod will look things over to lower the difficulty. Difficulty can only be lowered to one third of the original difficulty max. Because of this, the original difficulty the tech. had when you made it must be next to the new Difficulty.
- New Techniques - These are going to be a little more complex to acquire then basic training. First of all, you need some sort of inspiration for the new move. This can come from an instructor or some sort of event you witness that helps your character brainstorm the move. Secondly, the rating process will be far more difficult than any other form of training. Expect it to take quite a bit more time as well if the mod doesn't think the RP you put in is sufficient. There's going to be many failures here in a sort of trial and error training session.
- Non fighters – Yes, you can make a non fighting character. Believe it, or not.
