Another rematch against ZD! This time I ended up winning 3/0, with Heisei, the biggest and baddest of the Gojiras (Besides Final Goji, or course, but doesn't sound like a good nickname), doing a lot of work, managing to perform a little mini sweep at the start, checking Morgan Le Fey the Mawile (Fun fact, I have a Cat named Le Fey) and Flint the Gojira, and overal being a huge help. There was some hax with my Ferrothorn getting frozen first turn, but who needs rocks when you got the king of the pocket monsters on your side! Well, I guess that in Heisei's case it's queen of the pocket monsters, but whatever.

Anyway, good game, ZD. If anyone wants to watch the battle, it's A8MW-WWWW-WWW3-DU46

Mawile's nickname is a reference to the Arthurian character. Bonus points for "fay" being another name for "fairy." Mawile herself also can fit the seductress archetype. Her Play Rough gives off all sorts of signals... *purrs*

... And we're out of that rabbit hole! :P

I'll add in something to discuss: which Pokemon that we can't access yet without Pokebank would be awesome if they learned Sticky Web and/or Boomburst?

Deoxys-Spe with Sticky Web. That'd be kewl, would it not?

As for Boomburst, I'm sure pretty much any Special Attacker would appreciate it, considering it's 140 BP and no ill affects. I can't think of anything in particular, though; since it gives literally no extra coverage, probably not anything really needs it over anything else; at least as far as I can see. Maybe something that needs a little extra power. Sceptile?

Something bulky, like Mew or Torterra, with sticky web would be nice. But I think Mew really is the only one of those with a shot at actually getting sticky web, and probably only if they add a move tutor.

As for boomburst, Arceus. Who needs judgement when you can have holysh*tkillseverythingcusitstopowerful?

I finally did it, guys. I trained Pele the Larvesta to level 100, taught her Flare Blitz, & evolved her. I am one of what I assume is very few people to bother getting a Volcarona with a particular move that's not worth having on Volcarona, just so I can say I have one.
In other news I gave up on the eShop & simply told every relative who asked that I want X & Y.

Damn Pele. She's going to be kicking some serious arse with that Flare Blitz. Especially when you take into account her massive 60 base attack.

In all seriousness, that's pretty kewl that you finally were able to achieve that. Pele sounds pretty badass. You know how much I like Volc.

As an almost entirely unrelated side note, I made some quick Fakemon sketches. I thought I'd post that here in the highly unlikely chance someone had some mild interest in them. They're pretty shitty, but... ehh... I'm not too embarrassed, seeing as I just threw together in a few minutes. Also, note that I came up with the concept for Luzenith before it came to my attention that Darksilvania had already created a Bleeding Heart Pokemon with a vastly superior concept.

Oh, please no. Get this image out of my head.

Anyway, just had 2 battles against IN. Ended up winning both, the first one 5/0, the second one 3/0. In the first one, Mega Scizor did a lot of work, taking out 3 of IN's pokes. It could've been 4, but I decided to be a troll and go into Cheespeen against IN's last poke, and Azumarill who was locked into aqua jet.
The second battle, I basically didn't have a team, just 6 things I was training up a bit. You could tell because Ninetails, Politoed and T-tar on the same team isn't such good synergy. The only synergy I had was Politoed + Kingdra, which I couldn't really even take advantage of. Also the Kingdra didn't even have dragon pulse/draco meteor. Seriously, it had twister.

Luckily for me, however, Heisei was able to take an enormous dump on IN's team right of the bat. It would've ended up in an utter sweep, had she not gotten confused by IN's Mega Blastoise's water pulse.

Battle 1: 4BNG-WWWW-WWW3-ENGS
Battle 2: Erm. Seems like this one will have to wait. There seems to be a problem when I try to share it. Umm... Stay tuned I guess?

I'd say go for Skarmory. Meowstic is pretty good, yes, but Skarmory supports it's team around as well, while also being a solid wall. Klefki is also an option, as it does everything Meowstic does, but has more bulk. Not to mention, Klefki is one of the best checks to Aegislash there is, who is a big problem for Mega Gengar. Greninja can sort of check Aegislash as well, but only if Aegislash is fairly low on health and it still has a decent amount of health left, while Kefki just stops Aegislash in it's tracks.

I might just use Klefki! I've always liked him, and I've never had a chance to use a fairy type before! And with that, I also have no overlapping weaknesses, too! Now, I might also need a bug/grass and a ground type. Would Flygon be a viable choice? And what are some good grass types for my team?

Garchomp tends to be better than Flygon. Heck, it was Uber in the gen 4 metagame. As for a grass/bug type, Ferrothorn comes to mind for a defensive poke, but you should probably go with speed boost Scolipede. Give it swords dance and baton pass, and it can pass a massive boost to Garchomp, making it nearly unstoppable, unless the enemy has something with ice shard, in which case, you'll have to take said thing down first, which is a job for Gengar. With shadow tag, it can easily take care of any ice shard users besides Donphan, so be careful around that thing. Back to Scolipede, though. A plus 2 megahorn or x-scissor will wreck opposing grass, psychic and dark types. And with earthquake in the last slot, you can take care of steel types, though you'll have trouble hitting flying types hard, so rock slide is also a good option, especially with Talonflame running rampant. Oh, and you could also get rid of baton pass and use both coverage moves instead.
