Hmm. I really hadn't though about it since Horde training works so much better/faster usually. But since I don't have Power items or Pokerus yet, Super Training is something to consider. I think I still have to go with Horde training for the bulk of it, though, since I can train multiple 'mons at once. All three of the mons I've got are getting the same EVs, with the exception of Larvesta who needs Sp.Atk EVs instead of regular Atk. I'll probably horde train it for Speed EVs first with the other two and then Super Train it by itself for the Sp.Atk.

So, in the process of breeding myself a special Tyrunt (Don't question it! Tyrantrum is the best pokemon, and cant totally fill any role flawlessly!), I ended up having a spare one. So, umm... Anyone interested in a modest, 31/x/31/31/31/31 Tyrunt? If you want, I can give it a nickname of your choice.

Similarly, I also have a couple of Swift Swim Feebass with a couple perfect IVs here and there, although I don't think any of them have 5 perfect IVs. If anyone wants one of those, just tell me.

Hmmm. Not sure why you did this, but I'll take it. I can sort of see it being used to weaken Foul Play? idk, support set or something could work. O.o

I'd also take a Feebas, since freebies.

Being a waifu is something Tyrantrum can do in its sleep! Lets not forget how incredible this thing is. I mean, Arceus had to drop a Draco Meteor just to wipe this thing of the planet. Did it work? Nope! They just came back to life a couple million years later!

Seriously guys. Tyrantrum is the best Pokemans in the game. The only reason you can defeat it is because it holds back. It knows it is to powerful for the game, so it intentionally restricts its power. If Tyrantrum unleashed its full potential, it would force Smogon to make a tier ABOVE Anything Goes, for it would be at least 5 times more powerful then every other Pokemans in the game COMBINED! And you thought Arcues was the god of all Pokemans, yet its power and diversity PALES in comparison to Tyrantrum.

Yeah, Lord Helix can go crawl in a pit and die.

ALL HAIL LORD REX!!!

.....

On other matters, I'm definitely seeing the benefit of good IVs, as both the streaks I've had in Super Singles so far have been on average longer than I usually used to get. Both times I lost ultimately were the cause of screw ups on my part. In the first case, I would have been fine if I'd only stopped to get Ice Punch on my Aggron once I had gotten the BP, but since I didn't, it got worn down fighting a Garchomp (which I did beat, it's just that then I didn't have the HP left to take on the next guy). The second loss was due to pressing Head Smash when I really should have used Earthquake. There's really no reason I shouldn't have used Earthquake, but I lost focus/got distracted for just a second and it cost me. Just now at the start of my new run, I ALMOST lost to a *bleeping* Dugtrio. It got a critical Dig in on my Aggron for a OHKO, and then by combination of Attract, Dig, and Protect, it flawlessly wore down and took out my Mega Gallade. The fact that my Volcarona is a female and thus immune to the Dugtrio's Attract is quite possibly the only thing that saved me. If my Volcarona was a Male, I'm pretty sure I would have lost unless the RNG was feeling oddly generous towards me.

So Brosephs, my quests to capture good natured and IV'd legendaries has been going swimmingly. I have all three of the pixies, the birds (ported from X&Y), the golems, 2 of the beasts, 2 of the "swords of justice", Ho-oh, Palkia, Groudon, and the aforementioned Rayquaza. I believe I just need Landorus, the B/W/B2/W2 dragons, and Regigigas (most of them being 4-5ivs with the correct nature for their role)

But I am here to inform you that something amazing has happened! I seem to have happened upon a SHINY Registeel! And, seemingly unbelievably, I hit the 1 in 134,217,728 chance that is would ALSO be a 6iv shiny! Rejoice bretheren!

Haha, maaaaaan that's awesome. And lucky. Awesomely lucky, you could say. :P

My count of shinies seen/caught is still a mere three; Gravler, Psyduck, and the Jigglytuff from my AS play-through team. And my attempt to breed a shiny Charmander last year... well, it ended up being days and days and I just ended up having to give up. I swear there's a conspiracy that I'll only ever get shinies of com-mons. :fistshake:

Ugh, DM. Can I ask you a favor?

I was trying to clone a couple of my pokes (Namely Zekrom and Groudon). But unfortunately I apparently suck at it. So, seeing as you are apparently the clone master, I would like to ask if you could clone them for me. If you want, you can make extra copies to keep. They both have pretty good IVs and natures.

Welp, I just beat the Pokemon League. But not just any Pokemon League. After leaving it untouched for like a year so I would be able to inscribe my league battles for the S&T I was doing, I finally accepted that it wasn't going to happen- and I am now the champion of Corna.

Posted Image
Fulgora the Sooregat (F)
Lv. 61
Electric
Ability: Static
Item: Magnet
Hasty nature
191/112/105/170/128/106
Tackle, ThunderPunch, Thunder, Thunder Wave

I started with the grass egg, knowing it was supposed to be the "sauropod" starter. However, I misremembered how horrible it was; the answer was very. So I got rid of it first chance I got, and Fulgora became the Yippy to my Roxy. Not in the Corna 'dex, actually. No reason for her to have been there, she shouldn't be available until at least the Safari Zone and she probably shouldn't have even been there. She swept Colombo, the third, Flying-type Elite 4, with a little help from Ogygia. She then proceeded to die horribly against Champion Annie because I forgot that, despite having a team with a variety of types, she is considered a Ground specialist and therefore all six of her party members have Earthquake. Oh well.

Posted Image
Hina the Dotori (F)
Lv. 60
Flying/Fighting
Ability: Speed Boost
Item: Smoke Ball (???????)
Docile nature
193/110/150/106/143/82
Grasswhistle, Rolling Kick, Wing Attack, Twineedle

Cradily if Cradily was a kickboxing Dodo. Hina's normally one of my go-to fighters, but oddly enough she didn't participate very much in taking on the Pokemon League. If I remember correctly, she took down one of the 2nd Elite's Pokemon, and then fought against Annie and accomplished... not too much. She got destroyed along with half my team by Annie's Freech, a horrible deformed Altaria turkey thing with Speed Boost and Double Team. Then she was revived a couple more times against Wrestmilk, and got DynamicPunch'd into oblivion each time! Fun.

Posted Image
Ogygia the Descomune (F)
Lv. 57
Rock/Water
Ability: Oblivious
Item: Mystic Water
Relaxed nature
276/118/83/121/63/86
Surf, Rollout, Ice Beam, Water Pulse

If those defensive stats seem a bit weird for a rock type turtle, that's because this is Wailord. That aside, though, this is my absolute favorite Pokemon in the game. What you probably don't realize from the sprite alone is that, like Wailord, it is massive; the player is only slightly taller than its head, it has by far the largest menu sprite in the game, and Shoal Cave is replaced by the shell of the largest Descomune to have ever lived. Ogygia swept Roco, the Rock-type first Elite Four member, helped Fulgora sweep Colombo, and tanked a ton of hits during the first third of the battle against Annie, when I wasn't frantically using a Revive every turn. Then Wrestmilk happened, and she died at least three times; thankfully draining all the PP from DynamicPunch that Hina hadn't already. No, it never missed.

Ability: Blaze

Brave nature

Swift, Quick Attack, Smokescreen, Flame Wheel

Unlike in the actual game, you don't need to complete the regional 'dex (or be playing the third version) in order to get Quartz's Gen 2 starter. With the alternatives being a grumpy potato with acne or a goose barnacle from hell, puddle of lava with cannons was the clear winner. Being the final addition to my party resulted in taking a while to grind Surt up to par, but in hindsight I am super glad I did. He swept the final Elite Four, Martha, a Steel specialist, and then his Swift let him take down Annie's Freech, who would have swept my team otherwise.

Ghost
Ability: Insomnia
Item: Blackglasses
Gentle nature
166/167/95/112/105/105
Faint Attack, Will-o-Wisp, Shadow Ball, Facade

Gash is decidedly my least favorite party member, and the one I would most readily replace with one of the other two or three somewhat decent Corna Pokemon. I added him to the team extremely early, before the second gym, and he looked much better unevolved. But, he certainly carried his weight in the Pokemon League. He swept the second Elite 4 member, Perica the "psichic" specialist, with the exception of her first pokemon why the hell did she have a normal type it knew Psychic but still, and then later on, he Faint Attack'd Annie's Freech until she ran out of Full Restores before fainting himself, giving Surt the opportunity to secure the kill and avoid being swept by her second pokemon.

Ability: Truant

Docile nature

Yawn, Slack Off, Hyper Beam, Strength

Overall I would have to say that, Grylls, despite not having any appearance prior to the fight with Annie, came out as MVP for his role in that battle. Between Freech and Wrestmilk, the first half of the battle left me sorely drained for resources; I was out of HP healing items except for a handful of Revives, and I was down to my last Pokemon, with Truant. But then? Hyper Beam and Slack Off helped to sustain it and defeat Wrestmilk, even as I spent three turns Reviving Fulgora, Hina, and Ogygia, knowing I would need them for the battles ahead. Except I didn't. Annie's Iguagon? Tried to use Hina against it, found out it had Soundproof, and then after she died again, Hyper Beam. Annie's Drahago? Hyper Beam. Annie's Mimicat? Yawn so it would fall asleep, it Transformed and more or less wasted its turn with Strength (by proxy making Grylls the only party member to make use of his full moveset), and then Hyper Beam. Glorious 10/10 comeback, thought I was more dead than the time Wallace's Ludicolo rekt me.
