Don't use fossils as evidence. For all you know, those fossils spontaneously generated just ten seconds before the paleontologist found them. I mean, there's no evidence they existed there before they were found by the Paleontologist. Man, I always think of things like that and they drive me insane. Ignore that. Fossils are creatable in a very quick time. I have on my lap as I write this a Booklet with images of a waterwheel in Cape Leeuwin, Western Australia, entombed in rock after 65 years. Basically, it's a fossil. On an earlier page, theres a fossil tree trunk that goes through different layers of rock, supposedly created of millions of years. If the rock took millions of years to be created, the trunk should have rotted away at the upper layers. Many animals have sharp teeth but eat fruit. In particular, the Giant Panda has extremely sharp teeth, but all it eats is bamboo. Pet dogs have been raised on vegan diets, and one lived to 32 years of age (I had a magazine with it in it, but I haven't been able to find it...might have a look later). |

Good. I was going to laugh my arse off if you were being serious.
Basically and actually are two totally different things. I would suppose that the organic matter in wood is a bit easier to replace, seeing as it rots so quickly. And multiple layers of rock mean little. Imagine the log half submerged near a mouth to a stream. Any extra water flowing from that stream, particularly in a heavy rain or flood, would bring a layer of sediment with it. Multiple rains or floods would have this thing covered in mud in no time.
The panda fails at evolution. It is essentially a meat eater living on plants, which does not meet its need for substanince in a single meal, which is why it has to be continually feeding throughout the day. Besides, something the size of a Rex living off of fruit of leaves would require an extrordinary amount of either to have ANY energy at all. Sauropods required tons of the stuff, and I literally mean tons. Anyway, the Rex would need a superpowered digestive system since it couldn't chew, and eat stones to grind up the plants. No stones have ever been found in a Rex, or any preditory dinosaur for that matter. |

I am strictly a man of science. Every creationist who beleives "Oh, God created the world & everything living in it now. Dinosaurs? Oh, they're still alive. How do I know? He told me so." irritates the hell out of me, & the ones that don't give any evidence aside from divine messages makes me want to eat their intestines like spaghetti, & hang them executioner-style by the left overs. |

Mmmhmmm...I think you can get what I'm suggesting. If the Panda is a failure of evolution, shouldn't it have died out by now? And what's to suggest the Tyrannosaurus did not have, as you say, a super-powered digestive system. Tell me, have you ever dissected a T-Rex body with soft tissue? Perhaps it had a similar digestive system to a cow, or extremely strong stomach acd juices. The environment would have been at this time much more tropical and humid than before. I'm off. I'm bored with this argument. |

you know they also eat berries, insects, and fish, right? besides, pandas, like all bears, are omnivores. there is no known bear that is only a carnivore or a herbivore. even polar bears eat grass in the summer. |
