Name (of creature): Animiavis Animiavis Neurotin Height: 5 feet tall, 10 foot wingspan. Length: 7 feet long. Pack size: 3 Weight: 36 lbs. Base DNA: Haast's Eagle, Argentavis, Phorusrhacos, Humming Bird, Quetzal, Mountain Dragon, Brown Bat, Saurus Crane. Abilities: Animiavis have a bladder similar to those used by dragons to make fire. However, Animiavis’s bladder mass produces Carbon, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen. When these are released, they mingle with the oxygen in the atmosphere. All together that way, they combine to form the chemical compound C13H9NO. C13H9NO causes intense skin irritation, in particular around moist areas; blepharospasm, causing temporary blindness; and coughing, gasping for breath, and panic. However, it is rarely lethal unless if there is exposure in large quantities. These birds however, have a thick membrane in their nose which doesn’t allow external chemical to go through, as it filters out most elements that are not needed. Their third eyelid protects them from these chemicals as well. Their thick cloth-like feathers protect their skin from the C13H9NO. The bladder is at the back of the body, leaving a chemical Jetstream behind the birds. They also have large and powerful claws that easily slash through flesh and a powerful beak that can crush bone and pierce skin. Their acute eagle eyes can see long distances with great accuracy and their echolocation allows them to see through the C13H9NO gas. They are also strong enough to lift creatures of up to 100 lbs. for short amounts of time, however, they risk overexerting themselves when doing this so it is a very rare sight. When grounded, their strong wings can deal powerful blows to other creatures. However, as a general rule, they prefer to gas their opponents and the attack from behind or at a weakness they identify. They usually try to go directly for the killing blow since too much effort could kill them. When on the ground, their long terror bird legs can carry them very fast but again, they tend to drift lazily or perch on branches due to being prone to lack of oxygen. They have two light weight fangs in their beaks which are used to bite down on un-armored parts of the body, mostly the neck. Since these are at the very front, they don’t interfere with the bone breaking bite delivered by the back of the beak. Weaknesses: Due to the thick layered membranes that protect this bird from its own chemicals, they have difficulty breathing when agitated or if overexerting themselves so they prefer to live in the most pristine environments they can find. Their feathers absorb lots of water, so they are easily water-logged and cannot go into deep bodies of water. Defenses: They are unaffected by all air based poisons. They are fast but are even more so incredibly agile, making them capable of dodging and weaving in through thick trees. They can also glide for extremely long distances and don’t lose much altitude while doing so. That allows them to not over exert themselves. Their thick cloth like feathers defends them from cutting attacks, for a while anyway. Their coloration also allows them to blend in relatively well into their environment. Their sharp eyesight allows them to see threats from very far away. Even in the dark, their echolocation allows them to detect a potential enemy. Their long terror bird legs allow them to make devastating kicks to an adversary if up close. Special Attributes: In summary: Fangs, Echolocation, Eagle eyes, Bite(s), Strength, Chemical weapon, Sky drop, speed. Description: A quetzal with an eagle like face and body, long thin bat fangs, and phorusorhacos legs. Their tails are like those of a female quetzal. LOGI Info: Animiavis are very rare as they only appear in the most pristine environments. They tend to live in low altitude biomes, especially forests. Their coloration allows them to blend in relatively well. They also occasionally inhabit low land grasslands and savannahs, but they prefer heavily forested lands. They are omnivores, eating fruit and small animals, as well as carrion and occasionally animals of around their size if they manage to take it down. Other: They tend to generate lots of static electricity when walking.
