Name (of creature): Therizinochelys

Height: 15 feet
Length: 25 feet

Weight: 1500 kilograms

Base DNA: Galapagos giant tortoise, Gastonia, megapnosaurus, mantis shrimp, boxing crab, praying mantis, pterygotus, myrmecodia beccarii

Abilities: Slashing, spiked tail, firing missiles, can breath underwater for short periods of time

Weaknesses: Very slow due to it’s armor, legs and neck are fragile and snap easily, vulnerable head, weak bite, cannot get up if flipped upside down
Defenses: Spines, scythes, missiles, shell, armor, withdrawing legs and neck into shell

Special Attributes: Missiles, can breath underwater, can smash concrete with its scythes

Description: A Galapagos tortoise with a megapnosaurus head and neck, boxing crab legs, Galapagos tortoise feet, scythes like those of a praying mantis, but stiff and straight, and a pterygotus tail with Gastonia spines protruding from the sides. It also has Gastonia spines on top of its shell. Its neck is encased in pterygotus armor, and has small spines on the underside to deter predators from grabbing onto it. Therizinochelys has an armored forehead and two long antennae. In its forehead are two holes that look a bit like a second pair of nostrils. It also has small tubes coming out of its cheeks.

LOGI Info: Therizinochelys live in a symbiotic relationship with Dracovespus. They have pouches in their cheeks, filled with soft spongy material. This material has tunnels running through it and is highly nutritious. They Dracovespus live in the tunnels and feed off the spongy material. When the Therizinochelys needs them it will release pheromones to tell them what to do. They emerge from the two small holes in its forehead, which are connected to its cheek pouches. Therizinochelys are extremely strong, with scythes that can shatter rock. This means that they can kill almost any creature in one blow, and smash through most armor. They can swing their scythes amazingly fast, giving prey little time to dodge. However, due to their very heavy armor, Therizinochelys are very slow and tire quickly, so most prey can escape just by running away.
Therizinochelys inhabit warm scrublands. Because they are cold blooded they need to stay warm to remain active. The plants and rocks of the scrubland also give them some cover from which to ambush prey.
Therizinochelys can fire small silk packages from the tubes in its cheeks. As soon as they hit something solid, they burst, releasing explosive chemicals. This creates an explosion with a 3 foot radius. Any living thing within reach of the explosion will usually be incinerated.
If they are attacked, Therizinochelys can withdraw their vulnerable legs and head into their shell, leaving their tails and scythes out so that they can still defend themselves.
When a female Therizinochelys lays eggs, her Dracovespus will lay three eggs beside each. The Dracovespus nymphs hatch out at exactly the same time as the Therizinochelys hatchlings. If a Therizinochelys has no female Dracovespus, her young will have no Dracovespus at all. For this reason, the Dracovespus always lay at least one female egg beside a Therizinochelys egg.

Special Attributes: Fire, flight, glue, extreme speed, extremely painful bite and sting

Description: A hornet with dragon wings, bulldog ant jaws, flame skimmer eyes, six megalancosaurus legs and the abdomen of a flame skimmer, with a hornet stinger at the end. It has two small tubes, one on either side of its jaws, from which it can spray a sticky, gluey substance.

LOGI Info: Dracovespus spend almost their entire lives living in the cheek pouches of their Therizinochelys hosts. Since Therizinochelys are so slow, the Dracovespus help them to catch prey. They fly ahead of their hosts and distract the prey animal with their excruciatingly painful bites and stings. They often breathe fire straight into their prey’s eyes to blind them and burn them. They keep this up until the Therizinochelys arrives to finish the creature off.
Dracovespus are amazingly fast and agile in the air, able to evade almost any attack. Because they are so light, they can evade attacks just by riding on the current of air that larger creatures push ahead of them as they move. When they are not hunting, the Dracovespus spend their time weaving small silk packages, and then filling them with the same explosive chemicals that they use to breathe fire. When the packages are done the Dracovespus load them into the tubes in the Therizinochelys cheeks.
The Dracovespus do not only help their host to hunt, but also collect food for it and defend it if it is attacked.

Ok, so with my iBrain's battery recharged, I am ready for some sciencing.

I'm sure that there is going to be some hybridisation between the two forms: a new beast, slouching towards us. I'm eagerly looking forward to meeting the beautiful mutant.

Today, I'm going to be takin' these four fine folks into the biggest, meanest dungeon in the Forgotten Realms, and I don't know if they're gonna survive.
...But I'm cool with that.
