Name (of creature): Suicidia suicidia, Lesser Blarge Adult Height: 2 in. Adult Length: 3 ft. Adult Weight: 8 lbs. Larvae Height: 2 ft. Larvae Length: 2.5 ft. Larvae Weight: 6 lbs. Base DNA: Holothuria thomasi, Camponotus saundersi, Cyprinella lutrensis, Calliphora vomitoria Abilities: Suicide Bombing Weaknesses: It kills itself to attack, Slow, Weak, No other forms of attack besides exploding Defenses: Exploding Special Attributes: It explodes. Description: The larvae look like massive maggots that are a deep purple-black in color. They writhe violently when touched; however, since they only eat rotting wood, they cannot actually cause any damage with their mandibles. Adults look like massive, elongated gray sea cucumbers, with a red tip on the end of their... er... rump. They crawl along the ground using thousands of tiny ant-like legs. LOGI Info: Lesser Blarges are common throughout GI; however, the larvae are rarely seen, since they live deeply imbedded inside trees. They are very specific about the kind of tree they live inside; only living in three species of ironwood-like plant. The insides of these trees are filled with all the necessary nutrients the Blarge needs to survive. However, these trees are extremely hard to get into, due to their obscenely thick bark. Only a few types of powerful omnivores are able to cut through the bark and get to the plentiful nutrients inside. So the adult Lesser Blarge takes it into it's own hands (it technically doesn't have hands, but that's besides the point) to populate the next generation. In fact, this is it's only purpose in life, as it is unable to eat. It slinks across the forest floor in the long, serpentine sea cucumber-like form, usually in high winds when birds are mostly inactive, until it comes across a dry watering hole. It then crawls down into the watering hole, and lays on it's side; it then contracts in size, getting smaller until it takes a fish-like appearance. Then, it begins to flail about randomly, attracting the attention of the ambiguous omnivores; the few that specialize in slicing through the ironwood[-like tree]'s bark. When the ambiguous omnivore comes to inspect the supposed fish, thinking it may have found free food, the Blarge pours it's heart out to it; literally. It explodes... so it's heart goes all over the omnivore's face... get it? Hahaha... ha... ...er... ...moving on. Acids, irritating poison and shrapnel-like body parts are flung into the ambiguous omnivore's mouth, along with the Blarge's eggs, which were imbedded inside it's skin. The eggs get nestled into the tender folds of the omnivore's damaged mouth, and sit there until the time is right. When the omnivore begins biting through the ironwood-that-doesn't-have-a-specific-name, the Blarge's eggs are left behind inside the tree's center, where they will hatch and feed on the insides of the tree, restarting the vicious cycle. Other: No one knows why they are called Lesser Blarges. Blarge doesn't mean anything, and there is no such thing as a "Greater Blarge". No one has bothered to look into the origin of the name, because, quite frankly, nobody cares. |

Eh-heh? I'm glad you like it. It was really a test to see how the EEC worked, more than anything; I pretty much made the first thing that came to mind. But, regardless, it's nice to know someone has some kind of appreciation for it. |

15 ounces? I'm pretty sure a sea cucumber would weigh more than that. |

Yeah, probably. I really just picked the first number that came to my head; as I said, this was more of a test than anything. I mean, literally, I didn't even read this over after writing it, and most of it consisted of typing the first thing that came to my head. I'm not even entirely sure if I want this thing to exist, let alone if it should. What exactly are the conditions for deleting a creature that has not even been accepted yet? Since this topic is getting so much attention, though, what weight would you suggest? |

It does, doesn't it? Alright, I'll change it. Regardless, I'm rather thinking I feel like I'd like to delete this, regardless. I don't know. Unless somebody rather thinks I should keep it; something I wouldn't particularly understand, since it's a rather poor idea, is it not? I guess OM likes it. That's something, I suppose. That's kewl. |

I like the creature! Though I'll admit, part of that is because I like the idea of iron wood trees, and I think the relationship between the two is unique and interesting. |
