Okay... I honestly have no idea where to start or how to describe how my Morocco TSL is going.

I have all of north-west Africa, a "captured" (it was given to me in a peace treaty) city in the area of Jordan/Israel, two cities in northern Brazil, and I've just recently captured two Danish cities, one of which was their capital. I've also founded and kept a secure hold on Congress. Ethiopia controls basically all of central Africa, from captured Ottoman. Cities in Yemen and the tip of Somalia in the east, to the recently captured M'banza-Kongo in the east. I'm leading in every demographic (and tourism) except population (ranked 5th) and literacy (ranked 2nd. Both of those demographics are currently topped by Ethiopia.

India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, and Polynesia have all stayed to their real territories, more or less, and stayed small.

In the Americas, the Shoshone have the west (and Florida), the Iroquois have the east, the Aztec have four cities in Mexico and the south-eastern states, and the Mayans just have two cities at the south end of central America.

Denmark, (prior to my attacking) had their native territory, southern Norway, and Sweden. Sweden had been in the game but Denmark captured their capital and made them a vassal before I met them. After I met them and founded congress they tried to leave Denmark and ended up getting wiped out. A large part of my war with Denmark has to do with me trying to bring Sweden back and put them on my side.

Moving on to the rest of the western old-world...
England has their island and the lands that normally would be Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as a city in Mozambique (on the coast of Africa between it and Madagascar). Poland has their lands, northern Germany, and northern France. Venice has Italy, Prague, Belgrade, and everything in-between them, as well as Kiev. Greece basically has Greece, and also had two cities in southern France until Poland recently captured one of them and is now attacking the other. The Ottomans used to have land in Yemen as I said early, but now they just have western Turkey and apparently they also just founded a city in Namibia. They're also a vassal of Ethiopia. The Huns basically have the area of southern Russia on the north-east of the Back Sea, and also one city way the heck up at the Gulf of Ob'. Assyria has Syria and Iraq, thank to the capture of Babylon. Babylon (the civ) was then made Assyria's vassal and left only with a city in Egypt, with is now on the verge of Ethiopian capture. However, I just traded them a city on an island off the coast of Senegal (no clue what it's called) that was of no use to me whatsoever, so they'll be sticking around thanks to "New Babylon".

After I founded Congress, with the exception of the stuff with Sweden and Babylon, everyone was basically friends with everyone. Except for the Ottomans, who continued to be the focus of everyone's hate. Then as ideologies came around though, all of that friendliness has gone straight down the hole to shell. I can't even begin to explain who's at war with who, but Denmark and Ethiopia are the big targets for declaring war on. Poland isn't far behind, already attacking Greece, and having attracted both my own and Englands' attention. As soon as I'm done with Denmark, I'm liberating the Greek city(ies) and capturing Polands' north-France city to sell to England.

I'm soon probably going to get around to doing that Mongolia TSL I'd talked about doing, now that I'm not quite as distracted by AS. I'm thinking I might make an S&T topic for the leaders log though, simply because I expect it to be relatively big and that way it doesn't clutter this topic up any extra.

On a different note, a while back my dad and I started a small multi-player game which is going interesting so far. He's playing as England, I'm playing as Morocco, and the AI civs are Portugal, Babylon, The Huns, and Japan. I had a slow start since I was isolated to an area with just me a some city-states prior to Astronomy and sea travel. I've started to hit my stride though since the founding of congress, and am leading in points and most of the demographics. My weak-point right now though is that I'm the farthest behind technologically. However, my tourism output completely eclipses everyone else and is putting me right on track for a cultural victory.

The main powerhouse and my biggest rival right now is Portugal, who's the technological leader, the main power in and host of congress, and all around good and solid everywhere else. Babylon is right behind them and is the current religious powerhouse, which also makes them an issue. My dad's doing okay for his first time playing, but other than having a big army (which not to long ago I spent some spare gold to have him attack Portugal for me) he's not really doing/done anything too notable. The Huns and Japan are just sort-of... there. :\

It will be interesting to see how the late game will go, and what will happen if I ever happened to get a good navy together and/or get caught up on technology.

Hahahah, oh man. I'm just having fun and playing with everyone at this point in the game my dad and I are playing. I've got so much income that I've more-or-less set everyone to war against everyone (I'm the only civ not at war), and when I start my next turn tomorrow night I'll have been elected the new host of World Congress.

Yeeeeeeeah, that's about what I figured. I think I still want to go over the "usual" number of 22, though, if only by a few. Just to balance-out the placement a bit more evenly than what I can get with 22 slots.

Well, I was planning to log the game like I had done previously for a few other runs. So... I don't particularly want to go too overboard with it and bite off more than I can chew as. Far as. Writing the leaders log goes, but now that we're talking about it you're darn right I'm going to try it on a different run.

...Or maybe I will try it this run anyway. Maybe.

Curse you and your mind games, Saidi. :fistshake:

Okay, I have a -hopefully- simple question. I know that I can set multiple players in the YnAEMP set-up, but is ther any way to do a multi-player with mods, without using YnAEMP? Whenever I load up my mods it only comes up with single player, but when I look at the mods each one specifies if it is or isn't multiplayer compatible, and I also recall Ty saying something about doing "one-person-multiplayer" runs when he downloads a number of new civs.

Any time! I forget what exactly it does other than broadening the map choices a bit and letting you play as multiple Civs at once, but I got it for some reason so I presume it's relatively well. Also, we really ought to play together someday!

Yeah, we certainly do! :)

While I'm here though, I have a bit of an interesting story to tell. I believe I'd mentioned a while back that my dad and I had been playing a small game against each other. Long-story short of that, I won a cultural victory. So we started a new, 12 player game that we've been going away at over the holidays. He picked the Iroquois, I went with the Inca. It was just past the 100 turn mark or so, and I had three cities, the Great Library, Statue of Zeus, and Temple of Artemis. Things were going good... unit my neighbor to the north, Napoleon, zerg-rushed me out of nowhere. He took my capital and then razed my second city, leaving me with only my third city. I started getting it built up, fended off a poorly executed attack by Caesar, and then initiated a hail-mary strategy. I put next to all my focus on building units, heedless of the fact that I had no economy whatsoever. I then camped them out on Napoleons' borders and made hit-and-run raids/attacks on Paris, making up for the fact I was technologically behind by using formation tactics. Because of my deficit I had no science and was relying solely on the spy I put in Paris.

Skip ahead about 200 turns, over which time Napoleon failed to disperse the army on his borders. That is despite the fact that for the longest time my melee units were Spearmen, and even once I started switching them out with Pikemen, Napoleon had Musketeers, and by the time I got Musketmen he had riflemen. Honestly, I'm not sure what the AI was smoking. At any rate, along comes my dad with some Frigates. Two turns of pot-shots later, Napoleon offered him my capital that I had been trying to get back from him for nearly two-hundred *bleep*ing turns! Luckily, my dad really had no use for my capital and I managed to strike a deal. At around that same time I'd just gotten cannons, which improved my siege capabilities drastically. And then Rome, France's northern neighbor, declared war on them too. France offered me one of their two coastal cities for peace which I took. I then re-grouped my army while Rome besieged Paris. As soon as the peace treaty ended, I swooped in and took the weakened Paris out from under Rome's nose, and got France's other inland city for peace at the same time. Now France is down to one coastal city that is under attack by Rome and in the yellow. Rome's forces are also worn down for their attacks while mine has been resting back up, and guess who's next on my hit-list? :D

Hey, so, I was just curious, but, what's everyone's preferred method of victory? Personally I major in culture but will occasionally go for domination.
