Name (of creature): Vrachotherium dwaynicus (Dwayne’s rock beast)

Primary diet: Grass, fallen fruits and leaves.
Habitat: Tropical coastal forests

Height: 7 meters (23 feet)
Length: 12 meters (40 feet)

Weight: 60 tons

Base DNA: Gastonia, Gecko, Sea Urchin, Camel, Electric Eel, Meerkat

Abilities: Able to survive for long periods of time without food and water. Sticky feet allow it to firmly hunker down, at which point, only the very biggest of creatures can move it.

Weaknesses: Slow top speed of 4 mph. No real offensive abilities other then pushing or sitting on you. Legs and belly are vulnerable.

Defenses: Bulletproof armor. Immunity to toxins as well as thing such as gas and smoke. Sheer size.

Special Attributes: It looks like a rock. Senses the environment around it through active electrolocation.

Description: Normally it looks like a boulder. But underneath its armor, it looks very similar to Akinitherium, being a fleshy loaf of bread with 8 pillar-like legs.

LOGI Info: “Ladies and gentelmen, I present to you… Vrachotherium! … … … Vracho, could you please stop hunkering down. You’re making me look like an idiot sensationalising a rock… Oh, wait, that IS actually a rock.”

“Vrachotheres are mid sized members of the akinitheridae. Unlike their more famous and more noticeable relative, Akinitherium, Vrachotherium relies more on hiding then a solid defense, which might sound rather weird, seeing as it’s still a forty foot animal. But their shell, in addition to providing a nearly unbreakable defense, also makes them look like giant boulders. They are quite incognito compared to other akinitherids, as even while they are eating, they look pretty much the same as a boulder, as long as they are hunkered down that is. And that’s why they do pretty much everything, except walking, while hunkered down. Boy does it make for a funny sight when a rock grows legs and decides to move to a different spot.”

“Thanks to this, err… Ninja armor, Vrachotheres have next to no predators, as pretty much nothing interested in eating it can’t get past its armor, with the only exceptions being burrowing creatures and the one and only Megacastrum. Overall, Vrachotheres have a tendency to find themselves being used as a substitute for rocks. Unfortunately, with Entelotheres confusing them for boulders and bashing the poor Vrachotheres into other titan’s faces, and Sirens climbing onto their backs before they start singing. Fortunately, they have adapted to cope with these situations, and thus aren’t bothered much by them.”

“And that’s all I have to say about the walking boulders. See you next time, folks!” ~David Gordon.

Other: Originally, the species name was gonna be akinis, but after some thinking, I felt dwaynicus was more fitting.

I'm sure that there is going to be some hybridisation between the two forms: a new beast, slouching towards us. I'm eagerly looking forward to meeting the beautiful mutant.
