Name (of creature): Death's Drapes

Height: 3 ft, though note it usually floats so that its body is facing downward, so take this more as a width.
Length: 50 feet

Weight: 300 lbs

Base DNA: Bigfin squid, Dragon, Box jellyfish, tarsier, bull kelp, glass squid

Abilities: Float, sting, bite

Weaknesses: Soft body, slow, easily injured on hard objects

Defenses: nematocysts, beak

Special Attributes: Floats, stinging tentacles, fingers

Description: A bigfin squid with even proportionately longer tentacles, and smaller fins. Each tentacle ends in a tarsier hand, though bones are visibly missing through the translucent flesh. The mantle is inflated with hydrogen and translucent as well.

LOGI Info: One of the more dangerous predators of the slime swamps, Death's Drapes are one of the more opportunistic predators and do not specialize on one prey item in particular. They simply float idly draping their tentacles just inches from the water's surface. Anything that comes in contact with one of the tentacles is then dismembered by the animal's hands, and then it hoists the bits it likes to its beak forty-five feet above. As such, many scavengers often can be found living just beneath a Death's Drapes. They hunt all day and night, and are particularly dangerous at night when their translucent bodies are difficult to see. They can move, albeit slowly, by flapping their fins and blowing air from their siphon. They rely on the massive sap trees to remove wind from the equation, as when taken from the forests, they are easily blown away and killed.

I'm sure that there is going to be some hybridisation between the two forms: a new beast, slouching towards us. I'm eagerly looking forward to meeting the beautiful mutant.
