Name (of creature): Cackleribbon

Height: 2 ft
Length: 15 ft

Weight: 150 lbs

Base DNA: Bobbitworm, Giant Isopod, Capuchin monkey, terrestrial ribbonworm, Flying Snake, rat-tailed maggot

Abilities: climb, bite, glide

Weaknesses: Soft body, very awkward on the ground

Defenses: Bite, glide

Special Attributes: very powerful jaws, prehensile body, surprisingly quick and intelligent

Description: A terrestrial ribbonworm with a prehensile tail that ends in a small breathing hole. On its mouth, it has two giant isopod jaws placed like a bobbitworm's.

LOGI Info: Cackleribbons are the top predators out of the water. They prey on essentially anything they can constrict and crush, including Death's Drapes, Swamp Pixies, Tree Abalone, and even Judgement's Eyes that drift too close to the trees the cackleribbons call home. Ironically, they are one of the few species to completely ignore the abundant Mourning Teardrops, which are too small to be worth catching. Hunting in packs of two to six, cackleribbons communicate with each other by cackling, hence the name. They are capable of "gliding" between trees, though it is more of a controlled fall because of their size and weight. If they land in the water, they are acceptable swimmers, though they are at risk of being preyed upon by Pixie Bottles, the only animal in the swamp large enough (well, predator-wise) to take on a cackleribbon. They seem to take particular interest in preying on humans, which are large and easy prey in comparison to most of their food items.
Because of the slime covering the trees they call home, and the vines they use to move from tree-to-tree, they always keep their breathing hole above the slime. The rest of their body is often dipped in and out as they climb and "Swim" their way up and down the tree.

I'm sure that there is going to be some hybridisation between the two forms: a new beast, slouching towards us. I'm eagerly looking forward to meeting the beautiful mutant.
