Name (of creature): Ganglion Height: 25 ft Length: 60 ft Weight: 35 tons Base DNA: Colombian Silkmoth, Pincushion Urchin, Giant Pacific Octopus, Orange Tree, Deathcap Mushroom, Electric Eel, Army Ant Abilities: Whip, Climb, Grab, Crush. Throw, Push, Release toxic spores, Electrocute Weaknesses: Essentially blind, Not particularly smart, Tentacles can be removed fairly easily with a strong grip, the moth itself is not well-armored in any way, must move its tendrils away from its abdomen rear to release spores effectively Defenses: Heaps of tentacles, Flammable oils coating body and tentacles, but otherwise fire proof, Electric shocks, toxic spores are incredibly painful if breathed in and cause extreme coughing immediately, but need to be basically sprayed directly into an animal's respiratory system to truly kill it. Each tentacle is extremely dexterous and covered in a hard but flexible skeleton similar to that of a plant, but thicker and soft enough to not snap easily. Special Attributes: Incredibly powerful, Electroreception, Defenses and Abilities Description: A wingless silk moth with tentacles each approx. 3 ft in diameter and between ten and thirty feet long sprouting all over its thorax and upper abdomen. Its legs are small and curled up against the body. The tentacles are red and shiny, and almost perfectly cylindrical, and covered in a thin oil coating the moth produces from its legs and grooms over its entire body and tentacles. It walks on its tentacles. LOGI Info: Ganglion are usually peaceful nectarivores, pollinating flowers, but also piercing the trunks of plants and drinking their fluids as well. When they are not feeding, they are sleeping in a nest made entirely of silk, often out in the open, but with a silk "tent" protecting the moth from direct weather. When sleeping, the tentacles still move around, seemingly on their own, though at a fairly slow rate. When awake, Ganglion's tentacles move around rapidly, carrying the insect across the ground at surprising speeds. When provoked or feeling threatened, Ganglions will often attempt to grab and throw their opponents around, even attempting to tear them limb from limb. Only when grabbed will they electrocute their opponents, and only when they feel in serious trouble will they expose their abdomen to release their toxic spores. Ganglion are (surprisingly) a species with two sexes, though both are nearly identical, and it takes them revealing their abdomens to each other for them to properly identify the sex of another ganglion. They mate rear-to-rear, and then the female lays her many spherical eggs inside her nest. The young appear to be giant, ten foot silkworms, though with many small tubular feet covering the front half of their body. The young are mostly harmless, other than their tendency to chew on everything, including stone, metal, and the plants they are actually attempting to feed on. Once they are ready to metamorphose into a Unlike their smaller, normal relatives, Ganglion can live for many years, up to twenty-five. They can reproduce many times in their life-time, which is good as their young are easy prey for many of the larger animals of Genome. Only a few ganglion truly reach adulthood. Ganglion are often rather shy when they do feel threatened, and even when they feel safe, still surround themselves in their masses of writhing tentacles. It is only when killed that their true body is finally revealed to be a simple giant moth. Other: |

![]() I made this drawing a few weeks ago but I forgot about it. A pic of what it looks like with and without tentacles. |
