I'm just curious as to whether or not any of y'all have played Until Dawn? I believe it's only platform is PS4, although I am not 100% certain. Without giving away too much, there's a group of friends who annually visit a mountain lodge. One year they play a prank on one of the girls in their friend group, Hannah, and she runs outside. Her twin sister Beth follows her, and both go missing. The player, however, knows that someone on the mountain caused the girls to fall off a cliff to their deaths. One year later, their brother, Josh, invites all 7 of the girls' friends up to the lodge for the annual get together. We have Sam, Mike, Jess, Emily, Matt, Ashley, and Chris. As they approach, they feel like something is a little off this year, and several people admit to feeling like they're being watched. Eventually they find themselves being split up and manipulated by several different malignant forces, and the real question arises- who will survive Until Dawn? The entire premise of the game is built around the Butterfly Effect. Little choices you make throughout the game effect which plot line is played out and will change the outcomes of later events. It's even more interesting in that you cycle through playing as each of the 8 characters at different points in the game, and the entire thing is in 3rd person. It has great graphics, and each "hour" until dawn is a "chapter" which, similar to a TV show, gets recapped before the start of the next chapter. There was more than one time that I became so immersed in the game that I forgot I was playing, and thought it was a an actual Netflix show I was watching. (Although part of that was because i didn't start playing until 10:30pm and just one quick, cut and dry run through took me till just past 5:00am) It's a really great horror/fantasy kind of game, and with as many options as there are, you can have different results each time. |

*SPOILER ALERT* The other things on the mountain mostly spawn from the underground mine network and the abandoned sanatorium. They include a psychopathic clown, a wanted arsonist and, I ship you not, a small army of Wendigos led by a familiar face.... |
