But I kinda do have my own view about this, as we know very little about black holes, I kinda think that if we get sucked into it the earth will survive for a short period, but I don't know how true that would be as its just my own opinion, can anyone expand on what happens inside a black hole?

If you were to "enter" the even horizon of a black hole, you would be torn to shreds and ripped apart by the strong gravity. So, actually, you wouldn't be able to see anything, since you're dead. That's it. If you somehow managed to survive a trip inside a black hole, and went into the singularity, nobody can tell you what would happen. Because it's pretty much impossible. You could end up in a different universe, you could trapped in darkness and die, etc. Any theory is as good as another, since nobody really knows and black holes break the laws of physics and anyhting can happen. So, in conclusion, nothing much happens in a black hole. You go in, the strong gravity rips you apart, and that's it. And of the event horizon didn't kill you, the singularity most likely would.

You'll more likely be stretched like a noodle as you get close to the event horizon then time and shit slows down (maybe speed up? forgot..). Imagine the atoms of your body lining up in a single file line. Wiki has the answer in a better explanation.
