GREAT CLIP! I've heard about it. My problem is different: Sometimes, if I enter a server without setting a processor affinity, my mouse acts like it's swimming in molasses. Actually, I suspect I need to crank my USB refresh rate up, because I'm not positive setting the processor affinity always does the trick. Edited by d'Artagnan, Feb 2 2009, 02:11 PM.

http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html download the dual core optimizer 1.4 version. i believe it fixs that problem without you having to set the affinity every time you play |

Ok, it was probably the other, large installer for their processors in general. My last CPU wasn't a dual-core. |

Yea, it does. I remember doing an hpt when i had that.. (reinstalled os and only had halo isntalled) and that started happening. I literally could have capped the flag on BG like 6 times.. but it wouldnt let me get back in my hog half the time. All you have to do is go on the AMD site then driver page.. then download most the drivers you need. .but mainly download AMD DUAL CORE OPTIMIZER. This fixed the problem for me right after the install. |
