Halo CTF OpenCup Fall 2009 / League format

Posts: 16 Group: Warrior Member #1,610 Joined: September 7, 2009	Hello , Kronic and i have decided that we wanna approach this cup different then in the ones before , seeing as this might be the last halo opencup on cb ( yes it has been said several times before ) we wanna do something special an EU vs US final. What we wanna do is we wanna split the U.S and EU teams in seperate groups. For example groups A & B will be only EU teams and groups C & D will be only U.S teams. The only time that a U.S or EU team will play each other is in the final and in the consolation final ( match for 3rd place ) When the U.S and EU team play vs each other then its both teams there own server. Yes the U.S team can use a U.S server as long as it is located in New York/New Jersey , Atlanta , Chicago and the EU server must be located in Frankfurt , Amsterdam , London There is a sidenote to it we need 12 U.S teams and 12 EU teams to be able to start this cup with a U.S vs EU final Any questions u can add me on xfire: qop Link to signups: http://clanbase.ggl.com/news_league.php?lid=9685 -kRoNic , Qop Edited by Qop, Sep 7 2009, 01:33 PM.

Yes the U.S team can use a U.S server as long as it is located in New York/New Jersey , Atlanta , Chicago lol? something special? here's what im reading: -you want to keep the american teams separate until absolutely necessary because theyre going to knock the european teams out before the finals ever happen -when the 2 final teams do eventually play each other, you're restricting the location of the american server to give european teams an advantage. what's wrong with texas servers? loluscared?

He has restricted the eu teams to not playing isreal or italian servers aswell. Stop being so parnoid maybe it was just an idea to get more american teams to play.
