Roster size should be zero. Everyone who wants to hpt should be in one vent all the time they come online looking to halo. It would eliminate all bullshit evetually and engage new and old players more easily.

i think for the current situation this is a good idea. i also think that just because we do this doesnt mean we shouldnt try to get new ppl into hpt. itd be great if we could get more teams without limiting the roster size any smaller.

Even sod tried the community vent idea. I don't know why it failed.

I know xfire pretty much does the trick. But there is more serious players still playing halo than there are team games played.

A problem is that hpt doesnt use all available players all the time. Only when your own group is available can you play. People drift away because it s to time consuming to develop a strong enough team. The system has to be democratized and everyone will learn how to be useful and polite enough for any team. The skill is there already. You guys just have to be willing to try to play together more?

I think we should have hpt teams idle in servers so there will always be someone to play. Even if they are afk the league will be much more active.

Yeah i agree with Rhom. Is HPT really that important...? It's really all subjective any way you look at it. There is no point in doing all of these things to ''better'' the league. Halo is fun, but it won't be coming back competitively. I assume that some of you will think it's because of opinions such as my own, but it really isn't. The game isn't dead but it's competitive state is compared to the past and/or other games. I'm going to continue playing my 2v2 CE HPT's and Pubs, and most likely at some point in the near future pick up another game, such as Team Fortress 2. I've heard many good things about it so why not. I do wish you luck however, in your conquest of inactivity in the most active league in halo.

i also would like to say that if you haven't participated in a CE gamenight recently, you definitely should. They're REALLY fun.
