I have the newest drivers, yes. I don't think reinstalling would make a difference as the problem occurs in other games too. There's nothing other then "-console" in the target. I'm on vista so I couldn't play useff even if I wanted to. |

no, it's not on power saving mode. it shouldn't be overheating either seeing as temperature has never been an issue. |

Never been, but could be now. Check the temp of your computer and your graphics card especially. Also try running halo on high priority. |

deal with it and learn to use -useff or -use00 =]. OR your computer has a lot of dust inside and makes a lot of noise. That effects the whole computer. |

One word: Vista. Anytime I've had that operating system, I've experienced FPS lag issues after a while. It never occurred within the first 2 weeks, but following that I experienced the same problem you're dealing with now. It happened on both my former PC and my current PC. -qmp! |

Go to your start menu, type in dxdiag (if you have XP go to run then type in dxdiag.) Wait for everything to load on it and click save or whatever. Upload the text file as an attachment. In simple terms, without your specs I can't do anything. |

I never had a problem while running those operating systems, so I guess you could call it "fixing itself". Or rather maybe it detected I was running a substandard operating system and thereafter attempted to implode itself. -qmp! |

Yah I have windows 7, and it's been playing fine for about 10 min, and randomly drops down to 10-20 until I finish, even on useff or use00, I think it's my card overheating, but I'm on a lappy, how do I fix it? :V |

I can just paste my specs over. If that's not good enough I'll upload the text file. Operating System: Windows Vista™ Gamer Edition 2009 (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (6002.lh_sp2rtm.090410-1830) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Gateway System Model: FX6800-09h BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GHz Memory: 12278MB RAM Page File: 1763MB used, 23003MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 10 DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 64bit Unicode I'll check my temps to make sure it's not overheating today. I'm dual booting with windows 7 but I don't like playing on it because I can't get rid of mouse acceleration and that shit just fucks with my head. My refresh rates don't go above 85hz on windows 7 either. |
