ariza was young, talented, and energetic, but artest, aside from the occasional game he has when he gets hot, has been a disappointment. not to mention that he's 30, if anything trading ariza for artest decreased the longevity for the lakers to play well.

sorry to say its going to be suns night tonight once stoude gets fired up along with nash and frye , and this series is probably going into game 6 or 7
What do you mean probably 6 or 7? It has to go to at least 6. Calculator fail.
''probably'' because of the Suns winning is a ''probably''

don't know, think suns are going to win, but Ill take the probably back because the lakers are going to dominate them the upcoming game, and the suns will win at home, and it'll be in L.A, and I really think the Suns have a chance of playing, and they've been awakened from winning the two last games.. You never know, even though the same happened with OKC

edit: I also dislike the lakers sooooo muchh

well if phil jackson hasn't thought a way to get around the zone defense yet, the lakers are toast. they can't live off the 3 point line, and they can't just keep fouling in the paint all game. we need to get inside drives and for gasol bynum and odom to play well. don't worry if u hate the lakers, it's cool, EVERY1 HATES GREATNESS BRO

We'll just have to see, having that zone defense making Kobe only have like around 2 FGS in the 4th quarter is amazing.. Better hope they get a way around it, or as you said, they're fucked. If the bench can maybe do decent as they did yesterday, not as good obviously because their away, they'll have a HUGE chance in L.A, and if FRYE does somewhat of what he did yesterday in the 2nd quarter to get momentum, It's going to be a very close game.

i cant lie, Kobe was on fire during the 2nd and 3rd quarter, but Suns head coach Alvin Gentry took a gamble and made a good move by playing the bench lineup of frye, dudley, barbosa, dragic, and amudson. And guess what, they kept up with the Lakers starting lineup, i was like WTF, Suns right now have the best bench in NBA, plus who saw that play where they had 3 3-pointers in a row within that 1 minute span.

btw i think dragic is gunna turn out to be a hella good point guard, hes studyin well under nash.

U people like to state the obvious or regurgitate what the analysts say...

Refs will give the lakers these next two games aka the suns won't be getting the touch fouls u were seeing in 3 and 4.

If ur a suns fan u were given false hope

why do people even debate this series? Anybody who thinks the Lakers will lose is stupid, Lakers should have won in 5, pissin me off.

So, how about them Magic and Celts, first team to come back from 3-0? discuss.

Whoever wins Game 6 will win the series tbh, if VC starts playin like VC, the Celts will have no chance. Jameer and Howard have been phenomenal past 2 games. Tbh, I think the injuries really fucked the Celts over, the Magic might actually win this depending on Davis or Rasheed coming back, and Celts better hope Perkins doesn't pick up that 7th tech.

Haven't been able to keep up the last couple days with work, but I was under the impression he did pick up his 7th technical last game? Maybe it was his 6th I don't know. If Perkins is out I see history being made very possible.

nvm I see they rescinded that technical. Too bad. Seeing that age start to show for the Celtics the last couple games though. Though they'll probably win (I mean coming back from 3-0 has never been done), even if they do, I think the Celtics will be too tired to give the Lakers much of a series in the Finals while I think if the Magic win out, they'll still be pretty fresh given their relatively younger team.
