Alright so I wrote all that after working 12 hours last night on no sleep. Time to write something with a few less holes in it.
Looking at this link I quoted, it's laughable that you would even use that as any proof that Lebron is more clutch. Did you even look closely at those statistics? Lebron had 45 games where he could have the opportunity to be clutch while Kobe had a mere 28 (probably because there were generally so ahead of their opponents) and yet Kobe still manages to be 2nd on that list. I mean are you watching this playoff game against the Suns right now? Kobe has sat most of the 4th quarter. LOL. And he still managed to drop 40. (I forgot who said the Suns would advance, but nigga please.)
Lol Good one. I also notice during those "clutch" 4th quarter moments Lebron has a much larger turnover margin (4.1 compared to 3.3) further cementing my previous statement.
Nice highlight reel. Maybe I should post a few. Too bad I couldn't help but notice Lebron miss two free throws and force a 3 that he air balls in overtime that they didn't need. He could have drove to the basket or gone for a short 2 and it would have sealed the game. Or simply making 1 of those 2 he missed. lollll Also I'm pretty sure he traveled on that last clip vs Washington.
Nobody is saying Lebron is a bad player. I just don't think he's at Kobe's level yet. And whoever said rings don't mean anything is simply saying that because Lebron has none. If the roles were reversed you'd be all about the rings. Do you need 6 like Jordan? Probably not, but it certainly helps. Nobody ever said rings by themselves make you a great player. Nobody is about to argue for Robert Horry lol, but Bill Russell on the other hand? MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM maybe!
You say Lebron had that fire in the first few games. (I've watched almost every NBA playoff game this year so lol please don't assume as you did that I haven't) But then again Lebron was shooting well during those games. I'm saying when he is doing poorly, which as you said everyone does every now and then, he gives up. Kobe on the other hand does not. This was clearly evident in the Celtics series. I got some more stuff to say, but no doubt you'll respond so I'll just leave it for my rebuttal after you respond.
I was there with you brother; I thought Kobe was more clutch until I saw this, sad. Lebrons winnin when he comes into the league in 03. games can fluctuate, but percentage dont my son. The last link especially, argument about clutch is OVER.
WTF IS WRONG WITH U ??? LOL, I DONT UNDERSTAND, I CAN DO IT TOO. Yeah, you're right about the rings thing to a certain extent but its not a legitimate argument cuz lebrons career is nowhere near over so dont bring up rings at ALL. Like I said before, can you take kobes first 7 years and jordans first 7 and say kobe was better because Jordan had 0 rings? Lets just talk about gameplay, a true comparison for now. The rest can be done when both their careers are over.
Posting vids r so awesome @ strengthening your argument.
I can sit here and post 9 billion kobe fails 2.
You say this but I wasn't the one to post a billion links, he did. I posted 1 in my first post. He could have simply ignored it or said 'it happens to everyone,' yet he chose to post a bunch. Don't get on my for posting mine when it's my turn.

dude, its ok to admit that you've lost. I posed those in reply to yours so good job, it was to get a point across
Trust me, I thought Kobe>Lebron in clutch, it's ok to be proven wrong, that's the point of a debate, to come to an agreed conclusion based on the evidence, don't continue to argue about stupid shit like all the other morons, thanks.

I'll watch those vids tomorrow, though I did watch the Shaq one. That was funny haha.
All I'll say for now before I make a good post tomorrow is that for the 2nd straight year the Cavs are out of the playoffs despite having the "MVP" on their team, and for the 2nd straight year Kobe is on the track to the finals (without Shaq).
Let's not blame it on Lebron's teammates. Being a superstar that he is, don't even pretend to act like he doesn't have a substantial say in who is recruited to the team. He could ask for anything and the GM there would probably give it to him. Cleveland hasn't won anything since like what 1964? They need Lebron more than he needs them. Kobe did it. Kobe went out and said "get me some help or I'm leaving" Guess what, he won a championship the next year. Like I said previously, Lebron doesn't have that winning attitude, that FIREE

Dude, do you have any idea how much leverage Lebron has this summer? summer will be very interesting. The youtube links posted are irrelevant from both of us, all players have had bad games, I just did that to reply to your videos to show how stupid that was in an argument. The stats however, DO NOT LIE. Lebron was more clutch than Kobe in his prime, that's weird as FUCK to me and I hope you guys start to give Lebron some respect.
edit: when does lebron not have that inner fire to win? Dude is dedicated, I would never judge a person's personality if I didn't personally know him, dumbest thing I've EVER read. Also, it's PURE opinion, at least I had some stats to back my shit up. Also, the lakers organization is the most COMMITTED organization to winning in the ENTIRE league. They have the star power, the resources, and the beauty of the city itself to lure ANY player they want. What sounds more attractive? DUDE LETS GO PLAY IN LA OR IM GOING TO CLEVELAND, joakim noah knows watsup
i didn't lol at anything because those statistics are 2 years old. show one that is playoffs specifically, because that's the shit that matters yo
please actually LOOK AT IT
It's from '03-'09 and if you scroll down its playoffs from '03-'08 (scroll down towards the bottom).
Kobe's most memorable clutch shot=the suns shot and thats included in there, these stats are from his prime (debatable) and most of Kobe's gamewinners that are hyped are regular season, so regular season definitely should be looked at.

Kobe hasn't hit a gamewinner since (im talking playoffs and what constitutes a gamewinner according to that website, while lebron has hit 1, so im gonna go with these stats being relatively accurate). Regular season def changed, Kobe hit a lot but we have to remember he might have also missed a lot, same with Lebron. Kobe prob moved up to the 2/1 spot and Lebron is either 1/2. To me, this proves that they are both relatively just as clutch, or maybe lebron a lil bit more (according to the stats). Not the HUGE disparity every Laker fan preaches, making Lakers fans lose their biggest argument vs Lebron. However, I'd much rather watch a Kobe gamewinner over Lebrons any day cuz he tries to copy Jordan if thats any consolation. :D

That is an interesting site you found. I found a few other nifty little ones there like this one.
http://www.82games.com/0809/FGSORT10.HTM (if you click to And 1's you'll see Lebron has the most there) They also have a defense one, but it doesn't look like it's been updated in a while. But let's be a bit honest, stats aren't everything, if they were, I'd give Ronald Murray the ball every time for my game winning shots (he's clutch 100% of the time on that chart), but I can't deny that having stats on your side does say a lot and for that reason I respect your opinion here.
Therefore I'm going to have to concede a bit on this argument. I watch them both play a lot and maybe because I'm such a Jordan fan (hit this up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnCU185XYHc&feature=related ) I just like Kobe's style of play because he imitates Jordan so much better. I will have to say also about Lebron, he's not much of a pull up and shoot type player like say Rip Hamilton or (Kobe). He needs to dribble a few times to get a hang of what he's going to do with it and I feel his game is a bit raw or awkward. Not saying it's bad, but that it can be improved. When you watch Kobe play he just fucking I don't know, seems like he flows. I know you know what I'm talking about because it's really obvious. Anyways if I was drafting a team out of the current pool of active players in the NBA I would take
1. D Howard 2. Kobe 3. Lebron
in that order.
I mean sure I'm a Lakers fan (as I assume you are a Cleveland fan, or at least a Lebron fan), but I just don't feel his skill level is near where Kobe's was/is in his prime. I mean for fuck sakes he just averaged 30 during the Jazz series and comes and drops a 40 boMB against the Suns and rested most of the 4th quarter. I never see Lebron do that. Jordan did it substantially throughout his career (GAWD IMAGINE THE STATS ON THAT) when he went 72 and fucking 10 that one season averaging like what 37 points a game while sitting the bench on almost every 4th quarter? What a beast. I feel Kobe does the same thing though not to the degree of Jordan of course. I will say this though about Lebron. He's probably the most wanted guy in the NBA as far as teams go over even Dwight and Kobe. He could have made it happen so anybody he wanted to play with came to Cleveland, but he didn't. I realize that's not really his responsibility or in his job description, but both Jordan and Kobe did it and look at the rings. Lebron needs to win at least one championship before I consider him a better player than Kobe, or at least make it to the NBA finals.
Until then he can have fun at home watching Kobe put another ring on his finger.
game 1 magic/celtics, the celtics won but they almost blew a 20 point lead. if the magic play like they did in the 4th quarter for the whole game the magic will win 4 sure
finally, we agree on sumin. The magic just played BAD the first 3 quarters, prob cuz of the lag from not playing for ages
edit: i really would like to know who the fuck thought the celtics would beat the cavs, like really. Even trapt was like oh fuckk we are screwed
Erosion, you are an abosolute, moron. I can not stress that enough to you. You may have made the stupid comment i have ever heard about basketball. "Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Steve Nash, C. Billups. Wow, come on u need to stop posting right now. First off, Derrick Rose isn't even a point guard, I'm stopping right there, im not even gonna start on Steve Nash being fourth because you are absolutely and entirely retarded. Derrick Rose is a shooting guard playing point because the bulls don't have a point guard. He is one of the worst "point guards" in the NBA. So please, do not go there. You should be banned from the forums for ever putting something like that up here. And that order? what lmfao Billups? cmon son. it's because of ppl like you that video's like this are made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LITi7H4T72I
lol.............................................................. I didn't see the 1. Howard, 2.Kobe, 3. Lebron. Man stop embaressing yourself. You are stupid. Lebron is number 1 lmao be serious. Then Kobe then maybe, maybe Howard. Gosh, quit talking. You do not watch basketball. Your probably from Canada or something.

lebron isn't at kobe's level yet. in a few years he will be, but you can't factor in his potential as a player. for all we know he could get a career-ending injury during a pre-season game next year. not to mention he hasn't won a championship yet...yea that's not really a factor of skill and some good players haven't won championships but they will never be on the level of players of a similar calibre that did win championships. lemme know when lebron gets some rings
