this =P, all good though, if you get a red card in a match you miss the game your playing and the next match you can't play but you get replaced, its only 10v11 the match that you got a red card in, which Bayern will have 11 but they won't have Ribery so that means their fucked because Ribery is their 2nd best player imo, but it wouldn't really matter if Ribery was playing or not because they wouldn't be able to do anything against Inters defense.. Have you played for a team? I don't think so since you don't know about the red card rule or w/e but theirs a chance that you could of played but I only really pay attention to Soccer because 1. Ive played since I was 5 on a team in AYSO till i was 10 and then moved up to a travel team until i was 13 and then started playing halo and stopped =/ 2. I'm ITALIAN and 3. Soccer is the best sport ever, duh.. Btw I would love to play you @ Fifa 10 on 360, would be 2 fun, but too bad I don't have a 360 =/ |

i've been a little drunk all night, but i know the rules. i played soccer for 6 years when i was a kid, but when i got to middles school i switched to football. i played intermural indoor and outdoor at school which was real fun cus we just fucked around and won by like 8 every game. and i try to play pickup games whenever i can, since high school has been over it has replaced football as my favorite sport. |

Obvious group leaders will be: France, Argentina, England, Germany, Netherlands/Denmark/Japan If they eat fryrice be4 match, Italy, Brazil, Spain. But anything can happen... Like Italy and France in a shootout where {$}Zane headbutts niggas ... And for the final.. I dont know ... But PROBABLY not Brasil considering that Roneldhinio or w/e his name is, said he wasnt going to play. Ronaldo retired ... leaves a few seldom old good timer players. |

I've changed my mind on Argentina a bit, I think their going to the finals no matter what, either vs Brazil or Italy... If this is correct, which I hope it is and would love to see Italy beat the shit out of Brazil, Italy and Brazil play each other after the group stage?? 1st game or Second game.. I would love to see that. Ive been reading on the coach of Italy and they've been trying new tactics out and they found one that works really well with them.. So I would say, Italy is going far.. bump this thread though, world cup coming up soon lets see some predictions and games that you have to watch since I have everything on the world cup right in front of me on a Italian newspaper. Opening Day, June 11th: ALL TIMES ARE EST BTW 10 AM South Africa vs Mexico: Score 2-1 South Africa, def a game to watch for me, both teams are pretty underrated even though its Mexico 2:30 PM Uruguay vs France: Not really a game to watch but I think its going to go to France 1-0, I would love to see France lose though.. June 12th 10 AM Argentina vs Nigeria: DEF A GAME TO WATCH, NIGERIA IS VERYYYY UNDERRATED, I think Argentina 3-2 or 2-1, gonna be a close game imo South Korea vs Greece: Shitty game, Greece 2-0 2:30 PM England vs USA- hah, I WOULD LOVE to see USA TAKE THIS, but I'm have to go with England 2-0 June 13- not really any good games here but Algeria vs Eslovenia w/e that is in Italian - Algeria will take it their very underrated Germany vs Australia - Germany 3-0 Serbia vs Ghana - Ghana 2-1 June 14 7:30 AM Holand vs Denmark- Another good game too watch, both teams underrated but i'm going to have to go with Holland 2-0 Japan vs Cameroon- lol shitty game although Cameroon isn't really that bad- Cameroon will take this 2ez 2:30 PM toughest game for Italy in their group stage- Italy vs Paraguay- Italy takes this 1-0 or 2-0 June 15 New Zealand vs Slovakia I think.. Slovakia will take this 10 AM Ireland vs Portugal= Portugal 3-1 2:30 PM Brazil vs North Korea.. Brazil 2-0 I would like to see what your guys predictions are.. POST NIGGESSSS Will update with 2nd match games after June 15, gonna keep this thread going throughout the World Cup, hollaaaa I also changed my top 3 to win World Cup after reading and hearing whats going on.. Argentina Italy Spain England will get knocked out by Argentina so their not in my top 3 anymore. Portugal will get knocked out by Italy in the 1st round or Second round of elimination. Italy has an awful lineup for this world cup and couldnt even beat Mexico. I highly doubt they're going to go far. |

People don't understand that they were Friendly Matches and the coach was trying new lineups.. Not even using their ''best'' team, they were seeing how well the players did together passing and stuff and they didn't even have their two best midfielders playing.. In 2006 Italy also lost their friendly matches, but guess what? They won the whole thing.. Also their strikers can probably outplay any other team strikers, their midfield is decent, there defense is bad but they have chemistry together and experience.. Can't really judge anything of a Friendly match dood, that makes me mad.. Especially when Mexicans at my school celebrate because they beat Italy for once out of every game they played against them in a fucking FRIENDLY match Edited by The Situation, Jun 9 2010, 03:43 PM.

k good I hope you didn't think Germany was going to actually lose to them lol.. =p o well.. I think I already know Italy is going to beat them and if not I'm just going to not even follow them throughout the world cup because that would be really sad even though Paraguay isn't bad.. |

France has little to no chance making out of their group. They barely made it to the WC and are playing terrible consistently for quite some time now. I'm picking South Africa or Mexico for Group A, for the fact that SA is hosting the tournament and historically the host country almost always does well for at least the 1st round(for obvious reasons). Will be an interesting game Mexico vs. South Africa, can very well easily go either way. France will most definitely make it to the 2nd round. SHOULD BE INTERESTING. Group B- Should be an automatic advancement for Argentina, if theres an upset there I will be in complete shock. Let's see if Argentina can man-handle Nigeria on saturday. Group C- Winners of this group in favorites should be England or U.S. Very nice match-up for the first round. I don't want to get flamed by any English (redi) maniacs so i'll leave it at "England will play ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH". For retributions for fucking up our gulf :D and just being plain inferior. Group D- Germany, quite an underrated team, imo, should take this. Australia losing 3-1 to U.S recently (bad), should not be a threat to the Germans on sunday. Don't follow Serbia & Ghana, anticipate a possible upset in this group. Group E- (Don't fucking care) Group F- Italy, ofc. Group G- Good match with Brazil and Portugal. Depending on how healthy Drogba is for the WC I don't see IC doing anything(he's the reason why they even qualified for the WC), I don't see them surprising anyone. I'm rooting for Portugal for the sole fact that Brazil is the mainstream choice of team. Group H- Spain, they absolutely have the most talent out of all teams in this world cup( Barcelona & Madrid players). If they could stop being choke artists as a national team I would like them to be in the finals. I don't care about the other teams. |
