The only team that could (and did) beat Barcelona at their own game is/was Arsenal.
Arsenal out of all the other teams? I don't think so.

The result is no surprise. Manchester United had no chance in hell of winning this game. They have a pedestrian midfield. The only team that could (and did) beat Barcelona at their own game is/was Arsenal.
arsenals offense is way better than manu's tbh and + i love watchin nasri n van persie play

Yes. Walcott, Nasri, and Van Persie much > Rooney, Chic, and Giggs. Guardiola said the only way you can stop Walcott is with a gun. And Manchester United wish they had a winger as good as Nasri, which is probably why they are trying to steal him from Arsenal.

Yeh. No other team in the Champion's League was able to match Barcelona's skill and passing in the midfield like Arsenal.
Case in point:
If Barcelona had scored this goal the commentators would have hailed it as one of the greatest goals of all-time.

Man U only won the Premier League this year because every one else screwed up massively at some point. Unless they can rope in a star midfielder like Sneijder then they are going to fall behind.

Arsenal need a couple of solid defenders/Vermaelen to get fit. They also need to hang on to Nasri.

I heard rumors of Man U getting Sneider.. but who knows. That would be sick though.

Anyway, I forgot about that game. ( sick goal ) But I do believe Arsenal > Man U . I have to give to props to Barcelona because they were pretty good this year, but I really do hate them, so fuck them. At least they didn't win it last year.. that's all that matters. They're also going to pull an Inter and win all 3 cups.

I can't wait till next season to see all the trades and how they turn out. Pirlo is going to Juventus and they're also going to get some other good players, Milan are going to get some goooood players and one them possibly being Ballotelli, which I hope and Inter is supposedly going to be getting Tevez. So I really can't wait.. Also, I heard donovan along with other American players are going to be on roma along with anoceltti, the coach from chelsea. I don't know about the rumors of the EPL / La Liga trades because I don't follow other leagues rather than Serie A, but kaka is supposed to leaving along with Mourinho and Rossi is supposed to be going to Barca ( crazy ). Hope Cavani get's put onto a good team.

I think Inter are bidding for Alex Song from Arsenal. Don't think they will get him because he's our best and really only option at DM. Technically Denilson is the other option, but he is truly awful and will likely be solid.

Juventus are trying to get Nani from Man U.

I don't think Milan needs Ballotelli with Zlatan and Pato. He's nowhere near the caliber of either of them.

Balotelli & Cassano = win.

Ballotelli doesn't suck lol. He's actually pretty good, he's just not playing to his full potential for Man C for many reasons.

But he isn't better than Pato or Ibra, obviously.

Your midfield is terrible, lawl. You need at least two star midfielders to even get up to par. Arsenal have 19/20/22/22/23 year olds starting in the midfield that are light years better than your aging midfielders. Maybe you should be like Barcelona and try to steal Cesc from us.

It's funny you talk shit now, Manchester United are the richest sporting organization in the world we could buy your whole shitty midfield 100 times over, i know it's hard for you to distinguish the difference between buying and stealing, i know how you yids are down there. You wait for United to lose to come talking your shit, we dropped you even with our shitty midfield in the FA cup like you was fucking nothing. You take 1 game you won against Barcelona and now claim Arsenal were the only ones capable of beating Barca. LMFAO last time i checked they were definitely capable of losing to them and it definitely wasn't in the Finals. Arsenal are fucking garbage, up to par? You say? Up to par to what? Arsenal? We finished better then you in EVERY single competition, what the fuck are you talking about?, you are smoking crack.

Arsenal actually was able to beat Barcelona, and beat them at their own game. Manchester United tried to play negatively and park the bus like many inferior teams do against Barcelona and got burned. Arsenal out-passed and outplayed the Barcelona midfield in the first leg of the Champion's League. Arsenal didn't park the bus or try to nick a lucky goal, they played Barcelona straight up and beat them at their own game. Manchester United clearly could not hang with the best team in the world, which is the true test of a club's greatness...not whether you can beat Wigan at Old Trafford a couple of times.

I think you are mistaking Barca having one bad game for Arsenal actually accomplishing something for once. You've never even won a champions league, you were runners up once in how many century's? We almost double up on you on league titles too. LOL

Barcelona had a good game. They played just as good as they normally do and the only person they had out was Puyol. Arsenal for once actually had a side out that was relatively injury free. It was two top teams against each other with their best lineups, just like the Champion's League final was.

"Sometimes you come up against a far better team and tonight was one of those nights."

- Sir Alex Ferguson, after the Final.

Yeh, he's right. Manchester United's midfield can play with Blackburn, but Barcelona there is no comparison.

Please don't talk about European accomplishments and compare them to the Premier League and be a Arsenal supporter, your accomplishments in Europe are NOTHING, the only reason Arsenal are even recognized internationally now is because of Henry and the couple of league titles you won recently. Barcelona last night, it wouldn't of mattered who they played for those 20 minutes or so after the break was the best football anyone has ever witnessed.

Sounds a bit bitter if you ask me. Yes you beat Barca once. Let me repeat that, once. It beat them in a home leg of a champions league match, care to remind me what happened in the return leg?

We beat Barca back in 08 1-0 at Old Trafford, you don't see us going on bragging about it.

Onto your next point about Arsenal's midfield being better than Utds....are you having a laugh? Valencia, Park, Nani, Anderson to name 4....then we have the experience of Giggs and Scholes? Yes we do need to improve it if we ever want to compete with a team like Barca but in terms of the premier league no one comes close.

PS. How many years without a trophy? Mmmmmm point proven.

ROFL at Valencia, Park, Nani, and Anderson being good, much less better than Arsenal's midfield. Nani's the only one of the bunch that can be dangerous on the wing. And Carrick is shit, no denying that.

Paul Scholes in his prime was one of the greatest midfielders to play the game. But he is 36 now. And Giggs is 37. That's not going to cut it.

Arsenal have the fastest and most dangerous winger in the world in Theo Walcott, a player Barcelona have expressed fear of. Then there's Samir Nasri on the other wing who is better than anyone United has, which again is why they are trying to steal him away from Arsenal. Cesc> Your entire midfield combined, no argument there. Jack Wilshere tore your midfield up at 18 years of age this year and had a fantastic game against Barcelona. And then there's Aaron Ramsey who is a young Cesc Fabregas who again passes better than anyone in your midfield and has been called a young Paul Scholes. Alex Song is a better DM than anyone on United. And Arshavin is basically Nani minus the flopping/cheating/and being a disgrace to the game like Nani is. United's best midfielders might make the Arsenal reserves.

I don't really care who you beat in '08, this year matters because both Arsenal and United played the exact same Barcelona team. Let me remind you of the 2nd leg. Van Persie got sent off at the beginning of the 2nd half when Arsenal had the lead on aggregate/tied the game. Also no Walcott due to injury, and Cesc wasn't fit/could hardly walk or run. Also no Alex Song, or Szczesny who was injured early on. And despite all of that, Arsenal only lost 4-3 on aggregate. If United had drawn Barcelona in the first knockout round and were missing 3-4 key players they would have lost 8-0 on aggregate.

I'm not mad, my team didn't just get embarrassed and exposed on a worldwide stage. My team actually beat Barcelona by outplaying them in their style of play. And my team actually has a midfield that isn't the embodiment of mediocrity.
