Barcelona is crazy now omg. Fabregas + Sanchez.. Insane. When are they going to play Sanchez? I want to see him play already. He didn't play vs PORTO. AC Milan is also another upcoming team. ( they were already good) They've made so many smart transfers and they've picked up some pretty decent players. Their defense is pretty fucking solid and so is their strikers ( obviously ). A little more work on their midfield and I think they have a chance at winning it all. If Kaka actually goes to them, this could be a possibility of happening. Inter is looking to buy Forlan, yeah. They've said that on the Italian news. But since Serie A was in strike this weekend and the transfer market is closing in about 3-5 days? I'm not to sure they'll get him. I really do hope they do. I don't think they're going to do much. They got rid of Pandev and ETO ;x. They really do need another Striker. They got that Argentina kid, Alvarez though. He's pretty gooood. They also got a striker from Holland but I have no idea if hes good or not. Man City is another beast team. Nasri and Dzeko did work today, my god. Manchester looks like their normal old team. Who did they pick up? I heard they got a new striker, but I have no idea who. But the team that is underrated to me this season and is going to be a upcoming boss team is Juventus. If you see all the transfers they made and watch there Serie A games, you'll see. Really good team. This Season should be very interesting and I can't wait until Serie A starts. They were supposed to start this weekend but this dumbass strike. For me I think people who can win UEFA : Barcelona, Milan, Man City, Man U. Edited by Baddy, Aug 28 2011, 03:23 PM.

Regarding Forlan to Inter Atletico Madrid have confirmed that striker Diego Forlan has not travelled with the squad to Portugal for their Europa League second-leg against Vitoria Guimaraes because Gregorio Manzano fears his "lack of commitment to the team". Diego Forlan: Two-time Pichichi winner GettyImagesTwo-time Pichichi winner Diego Forlan could be on his way out of Atletico Madrid Forlan, 32, has been the subject of reported interest from Inter, though he claimed on Monday that there was "no offer" on the table from the Nerazzurri. However, he did talk up the credentials of Inter when further pressed on their interest, saying: "No one will doubt that Inter are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and the world, but I have a two-year contract and I cannot think of anything else." And it appears the prospect of a move still exists after Forlan asked not to be included in Atletico's squad ahead of the Rojiblancos' trip to Portugal, a request that Manzano granted. "Forlan asked Manzano this morning not to travel to Guimaraes because he is considering joining another team," Atletico said on their official Twitter account. "Manzano authorised him to stay in Madrid because Atletico have a lot at stake and need players who are 100%." Forlan has been at the Vicente Calderon for four years, since moving from Villarreal in 2007, and won the World Cup Golden Shoe last year for his excellent displays for Uruguay in South Africa. |

Anyone who thinks Arsenal suddenly became a mediocre team or Wenger suddenly became a liability because they got thrashed by the best team in the country during a horrendous suspension/injury crisis obviously doesn't watch much football. Their starting midfield today was Ramsay, Rosicky & Coquelin. Those three would probably struggle in the Carling Cup against a League One team. The only thing you can really fault Wenger for is not lining up someone to replace Fabregas & complement Wilshere (aka he should have bought Hazard months ago rather than next Wednesday). He took a bit of a gamble on having a small (senior) squad and the gamble has so far backfired. But his approach has always been to build a personalized unbeatable XI rather than splash the cash on decent-but-overpriced rotatable players ŕ la Dalglish/Mancini, so anyone waiting for him to suddenly buy half a dozen "top top" players is going to be disappointed. Having said that, they do need one or two players, if only to make up for the loss of numbers caused by the recent departures. tl;dr: Arsenal had 7 starters injured and the lineup they fielded today would have struggled to beat someone like Leyton Orient. If they had that kind of lineup against Udinese they would have gotten worked 5-1 or so. |

I know Arsenal has problems with their lineup. I know Arsenal would obviously not be as good as they were with fabregas / nasri ( my opinion ) even with replacements, but a 8-2 is still bad. I actually like Arsenal and hate Man U. Edited by Baddy, Aug 28 2011, 07:39 PM.

Well, yeh. But you have to understand that if Arsenal had their full-strength lineup go against Manchester United (Include Song, Wilshere, Sagna, Vermaelen, Gervinho, Gibbs, Frimpong) they would probably lose by a goal or two. I guarantee the next time Arsenal and Manchester United play it will be more competitive. Even if Arsenal had fielded the same lineup they did against Udinese, it would have been much, much closer. Arsenal do need to sign a few players though. There's still a few days until the transfer window closes. |

yes I know but you can't always rely on your starters. That's why theirs a bench when they get injured / red cards. Obviously the score would of been closer x.x with there starters . Udinese isn't really a good team so its ez and there in the same boat with Arsenal. They got rid of Inler / Sanchez and failed to replace them with any players. |

Fair point, depth is important and Arsenal do lack that. Man United have incredible depth, especially on defense. Arsene Wenger has a tendency to run a tight ship squad wise and this year especially there isn't a whole lot of depth. But still, I've never seen a team have more players out at one time.
Busquets Fabregas Xavi Iniesta Plus Pedro and whoever else on the wings. But that would be 6 midfielders, lmao. There's no way that lineup would work unless you played with one winger and made one of the left or right backs play on the wing and still try to get back on defense. I guess you could drop Busquets but Cesc/Xavi/Iniesta aren't really suited to play in the defensive midfield slot. Of the 3 of them, Xavi would probably be the best holding midfielder/DM and might could play in place of Busquets. I've never seen a better group of center midfielders together. Literally the three best midfielders in the game are together on one team. I can't see anyone coming remotely close to beating them in the Champion's League or anywhere else. |

He does though. Look at how he is on the international level. Not nearly as prolific as he is at Barcelona. Xavi and Iniesta are geniuses. |

Watching Barcelona vs. Villareal right now and they have a weird formation going. Looks like a 3-4-3 with three defensive midfielders- Keita, Busquets, and Mascherano. Cesc is starting instead of Xavi, and it doesn't look like Xavi is going to be playing DM at all. What did Rooney say in the World Cup? |

If you're implying that to my comment of the "5-0", a 5-0 is embarrassing, that's why I said that. |
