[14:31] invert: 32 bit vista [14:31] Btcc22 ó_Ó: Ah [14:31] invert: everytime I load up HAC it says either a map is modified or my sounds are modified [14:31] invert: and i have to reset my computer for it to work [14:32] Btcc22 ó_Ó: ;X [14:32] invert: and when it works..like i'll play a couple matches, exit hac..load up hac again when we have more matches and it will say something is modified [14:32] invert: i just reset my computer twice and its saying something different is modified each time [14:32] invert: when nothing is modified... [14:32] Btcc22 ó_Ó: Weird [14:32] invert: yea and its getting really annoying [14:32] invert: i cant even play hpts on hac cause of it [14:33] Btcc22 ó_Ó: I'll look into it [14:33] invert: thanks [14:33] invert: just remember its happened to me since i downloaded hac (when it became mandatory) [14:33] Btcc22 ó_Ó: Alright Conversation ended: Thu, Mar 25 14:40:46 2010 then Conversation started between invert and Btcc22 ó_Ó: Thu, Apr 15 16:22:27 2010 [16:22] invert: hey [16:22] invert: did you find out my problem yet? [18:11] invert: ... [18:12] Btcc22 ó_Ó: Not a clue :/ [18:12] invert: so your telling me i have to deal with this pos? [18:12] Btcc22 ó_Ó: I guess so [18:12] invert: you give people like havock exceptions and shit? wtf am i supposed to do? [18:13] Btcc22 ó_Ó: There's nothing wrong with HAC that causes it [18:13] invert: yea, there is obviously. [18:13] invert: if i play on hac true when it does work then it says somethings modified [18:13] invert: somethings wrong with hac. [18:14] Btcc22 ó_Ó: We're talking about the maps, right? [18:14] invert: yes [18:14] invert: sometimes it even says sound is modified Conversation ended: Sun, Apr 18 18:33:57 2010 I just reset my computer 3 times, re-installed this shitty program, tried using it: 1st it was sounds modified, then after the 2nd reset it was wizard modified, then 3rd reset prisoner is modified. But then it randomly works: http://haloanticheat.com/stats.php?user=stonedbro This is getting really annoying and you can see in the chat logs, this Btc22 guy doesnt have a fix for it. @Admins: You make people run this program when it ruins their gameplay. Example - esco and olie..it crashes for them all the time (or did)..why? ps: already tried reinstalling halo several times. Help? |

Try completely uninstalling halo and downloading a different iso. http://tempie.us/teflon/ It doesn't work properly on 64 bit, but you're not on 64 bit so I have no idea what's wrong with yours. |

Here's a response since he started raging on Xfire. I had him check the MD5 checksums of the maps that HAC was having a problem with and found that HAC is behaving as expected, as confirmed by another tool. His map files had been modified, thus producing an incorrect MD5. Since HAC uses MD5 to check the integrity of the files upon starting up, this would obviously cause a problem with verifying his files. I'm not a magician, and this doesn't even seem to be HAC related, so I'm not sure what I'm expected to do. |

Here's an idea, get rid of Vista...Why would anyone use that garbage in the first place? I have legit unused keys for all OS's and ISO's if you decide to upgrade. |

either something is wrong with your computer in general, or you're doing something to your game that hac doesnt like. youve had numerous problems with css as well as halo and hac, so have you ever thought that maybe you just need to reformat or get a new os/computer? if you have problems with more than one program or application that people dont usually seem to have problems with, then the best guess is that your computer is the problem. stop modifying maps/sounds in halo and stop getting VAC banned in css for walling/aimbotting. should solve the problem ;) |
