Posts: 965 Group: Warrior Member #1,382 Joined: April 25, 2009	not all turbos have intercoolers, you clearly have some underlying emotional problems to deal with, and I am smarter than you are. aside from vulkan knowing more about everything than you do, i also worked at a peterbilt dealership for nearly 3 years working multiple positions, one of which was re-soldering connections on the engine ecu. another one was inspecting, and speccing out unit compositions to meet customers needs in terms of engine horspeower, torque, wheelbase, etc. i dont drive a truck. i drive an suv. and i drove 2 cars before i made the switch because i needed extra space for your mother in the back seat. we're both more knowledgeable than you are on the subject. half of the shit you said doesnt even relate to this anyways, you're just angry at something and trying to put it off on this. ds rip may be a redneck, but he prefers to rice out toyota corollas, not drive diesel trucks. cooler air doesnt make for better combustion. compressed air makes for better combustion. a turbo without an intercooler still compresses air. thats part of what makes turbos improve fuel economy and efficiency. why do you think turbo diesel vws get better gas mileage than combustion engines? diesel works by hot air compression, not combustion. there's at least a 10:1 difference in power between diesel-hot air compression to gasoline combustion, provided the weight of the vehicle is the same. cool air, hot air, doesnt matter. compression improves combustion. you would know that if you werent frantically browsing google for an argument. edit: while cooling the air can improve fuel to air mixture density, it's not necessary to have an intercooled turbo. cooling the air down just makes compression easier, so either way, im still more correct than you are, and you're still an idiot. I think top gear reviewed and the first car they drove failed then the second tesla they got didn't even travel nowhere near the estimated distance tesla claimed. tesla had nothing to do with "non gas based vehicles." have you ever heard of a tesla coil? i presume you havent. tesla created an object that harnessed the power of static electricity to produce unlimited amounts of energy at no expense. tesla lived from roughly 1850-19something. by the time automobiles were coming out, he was well into his 40s and had already released his theorem of free energy. you know nothing about tesla, nothing about the free energy movement, and nothing about the plausible free energy alternatives. diesel fuel as an alternative to gasoline would be an amazing start, but you would still have to create gasoline to extract diesel as a byproduct, so it's not ideal, but salt water engines that get 400 miles per ounce of water is a ridiculously good solve to america's oil crisis. its a shame the government is owned by oil companies and their affiliates, otherwise, we might do the environment some good while saving money. im not sure who "fuck you" is, but you need some schooling.

Why would they release an energy source that puts them out of business, as there is no need to go the pumps and buy oil when you can plug it into your houses power socket etc I'm not portraying any company as a greed driven profit machine. I am saying if they CAN slow down technology efficiency so THEY can maximize profits, WHY wouldn't they. Obviously this implies they make more money the way they do currently than paying people to as you make it sound like conjure up energy sources. If they could simply come up with alternative energy sources and maximize profit obviously they would, but that's not happening is it... And as for alternative energy not being there for cars, they have electric cars that are faster than most production cars. They have cars that you can buy today that run on hydrogen fuel cells (meaning the only emissions are Oxygen and Hydrogen [water])
