 Can someone give a decent description, i'm a little lost.

Of what sleep paralysis actually is.
Do you mean for example not being able to run fast or punch fast in your dreams or
Not being able to move because the body thinks your asleep but you are awake

EDIT: A lot of stories have also said that people noticed some shape of a dark person near them, couldn't really make it out though(like bamboo's description) and an extreme force of weight being exerted on their chest.
