My problem is similar to his. Once in a while (this doesnt happen very often, but it does) my computer will make a buzzing/beeping noise for like 2 seconds through my speakers then shut off and turn back on. Its like a blue screen, except with no blue screen. is this my psu going bad? feedback would be appreciated

Around 2 years old maybe? Ive never monitored my temps before (i have no clue what my temps are even supposed to be :/ ) but when it does shut off i feel my computer and the tower is fine but sometimes the motherboard is a bit hot.

You could potentially: Need a more powerful psu More fans in that bitch Reapply thermal paste If you don't start doing some of the above (I'd start with the paste->fans and then go to better psu) you could experience problems where you need a new psu cpu motherboard video cards etc etc. Have fun.
