this idea is ![]() i just see the two clans splitting into smaller cliques which mostly play together with very little interaction with other cliques. kinda defeats the purpose imo. i wanna see this idea work though |

But I think making 2 xfire groups for the team would be better than IRC because that way you can see whoes online at what time in your clan and decide 2 play matches n shiat. |

xfire groups: yes, good idea As for wins/losses... I agree with balla... it should just be team record. I feel like we can get 3-4 teams tho instead of 1-2 |

the thing about the cliques idea about this is that there pretty much is no CONSTANTLY active group of people to actually stick with their usual group of cliques. this idea is to create cliques, new ones that will eventually branch off of these original two teams |

damn essay keeping me up.. Ideas already formed/possibility of happening: - 2 teams - possibly make a list of players that youd want to play with - remove personal stats I agree with these ideas. The question I have to ask though, how will you distinguish these two teams? will it be just a large group decision on the name of the clan sortof like summer camp? I agree people don't care about points, hell i never did lol. If it wasn't as big of a deal to lose i think people would take more chances, perhaps change up strategies. How would you do prizes and stuff though? You couldn't give prizes to 30 people if we say each clan has 30 members. I guess these will be hammered out eventually. Anyone else get the feeling Sam is doing cartwheels in his living room. |

I highly doubt there will be prizes, currently I think we should only think to the extent of making this work, after which we can think about rewards and what not and Halo was only at one point a game worth playing for money and that time is long gone so I dont think there will be any prizes to come in the future either, but i could be wrong. |

bigbade. enlighten me. Create 2 new teams on cc.cc. red and blue for example. hpt1, hpt2. make a thread to name the teams. 1. In November allow members to only join either of those 2 teams. 2. Create a new and simplied point structure, based on match size and gametype. 3. Post the screens of the games played for wins losses / point confirmation in a section here. 4. Require HAC. 5. do work. This will save competitive halo pc if done properly. By that i mean the "leaders" have to help people squash dumbshit and have to include non-hpt clique veterans at some point... all the kids on your xfire who play halo/vent/ whatever; in order to grow the league. Yes i said it. |

The only downfall i see to this is all the mexicans that are in hpt now...most of them are annoying and sound gay as a 9 dollar bill, i think they should have their own team. |

The only thing I can see being an issue, is if there is these so called "team captains" because that captain will basically just pick the best players or their friends to play, so they get w's, and all the shitties wont be able to play. How would matches work then? I understand if things are slow, even then, in theory, each team would have enough players to play matches. But if it's saturday etc. and theres a good amount of players on, I would think that it would end up being all the good players playing 5v5's etc and touching back to what I just said above. Also if certain players hate each other, and want to transfer to the other team, then there should be some sort of trading system, where each team has to swap a player then, so it keeps the roster size on both teams fairly equal. like someone said earlier, cliques will form quickly and people wont want to play with each other, only with their cliques. so either people still play with their own group of friends (might as well keep seperate clans) or theyll play with others that they dont know which will result in people not trying and an overall pug experience ALLLSOOOOO good players arent going to want bad players on their team. so im guessing one team will be extremely stacked compared to the other i just dont see it working |

True if both teams have 10+ people online I'm not sitting out for some noob. And also if the games get over 5v5 FUCK THAT. 6v6+ in HPT IS GAY Maybe it would be better if it was 4 teams instead of 2. |

theres about 4 teams now... if anything make the roster sizes smaller than 13. 7-8 should be enough. that should get another few teams. |

no..lol. I think teams can do multiple 5v5s if there's 10 from each team on (which is the advantage to this thing). yes. sometime you'll have to sit out. l2make comprimises thickness, you'll get your chances. ^^ Directed towards x-it wanting the top spot, seeing that there won't be one. It's just gonna be a mix of large people and you'll have a varity of people to choose from as a teammate. Surely cliques will form, but they won't be as limited to having the players play with each other. Small cliques will have to eventually branch out and play with other players also. well you can already not participate then cause that's obviously not going to happen if iclan isn't split up then whatever team iclan is on will already have the kind of chemistry that team B doesn't. I know it's hard growing up guys but if you want this to work you have to play with people who you could never envision being on a team with and sometimes sitting out " for some noob " gonna avoid any comment on that one. also making smaller roster sizes isn't going to change anything if team A splits up into team A1 and A2, chances are they're not going to want to play each other. also "CREATING A NEW POINT SYSTEM, IT'S THAT EASY" is not that easy when cc.cc dictates what we can do or not. if it's that easy, wouldn't it have been done already? I'm not against this btw I'm pretty sure the 2 team thing could be worked out but the discarding of player points/ ratios / mexicans? ( seriously? ) I'm not so sure about. how about discarding your egos instead? fix the problems with the players then we'll talk about fixing the game. Edited by HPT-22, Oct 12 2010, 10:23 AM.

Why don't we do kind of a draft that goes by week's and do like a mixup, one week it's oddball, another it's ctf, another it's 2 vs 2's another 3 vs 3's and 4 vs 4's and so on... the final week of each month is 1 vs 1's, so warrior status is still included, i'm not sure what kind of power admins have over cc, but we could delete the teams and possibly reset the points after the week is over? We basically have 2 teams and each member has to sign up on the forums and people are randomly selected to team A or B for the week C and D for the next week and E and F for the third week then final week is free for all, to organize it we make 2 xfire groups A and B (or whatever week it is) 2 admins then moderate it and everyone joins that particular group so we know who is on our group and online. If there is enemys withing the group people just sit out that game or grow the fuck up? The team A and B is a good idea but the problem is there is no fun and a whole month is just ridiculous, we need mini tournaments that will at least make it interesting, i know it would be a lot of work but i wouldn't mind helping and i know a lot of people would.
