wait a second.. if your birth control doesnt.. control birth then cant you sue them?
is that why youre so cool with this? how much is the settlement?!
pretty sure you can only sue them if they say it's garunteed to control birth, they usually put something on the packets like 99% effective.

btw, congrats.

Financially supporting the child isn't the main issue in my opinion.
It's being intellectual aspect.

how the fuck isnt finance the main issue?!? an average couple w/ a decent income spend at LEAST 50,000 out of pocket in the first 5-7 years of the childs life ( i took the parenting to get a credit fuck u lol ) but the biggest long term toll is the emotional & dedication thats required, sorry if that's what you meant gatman lol

grats and goodluck btw icy

$20 a day or 20 diapers? Either case is not true. I have a 4 year old brother, at most it was 3-5 diapers a day, depending on much he ate/drank.

As Gatman said, the money is not the issue.

babies are a lot of work so make sure you use the next 5-6 (judging by the picture its ~20?weeks old) months to get your shit straight.

also some advice; use any government amenities youre applicable for to your advantage. apply for low income housing, medicaid/care, as well as food stamps etc. because any additional help you can get will be a blessing. my mom rents out one of her houses to a low-income family and the rent is $1500/month (see Posted Image ) and the government send us checks for all but 20$ of that amount.

i'm sure the two of you have "great jobs" but i highly doubt that either of you have your own health insurance or access to maternity leave and as far as i know, no health insurance covers grandchildren so medicaid/care is a must.

on a less serious note: lets hope he looks nothing like you X)

I work for Monroe County technical services. http://www.monroecounty-fl.gov/index.aspx

I'm a secretary for one of the biggest judges on my island. I also do some photography on the side, for weddings, birthday parties, etc. I make an hourly pay for that and I also do package deals for the different pictures and videos.

My girlfriend is a CNA, and she's going through med school so she can be certified to work behind the pharmacy counter.

I appreciate your input, but we don't qualify for any of that stuff, because our incomes are too high.

Well, I thought about posting advice, but it would be condescending to do so. You know you aren't going to get any sleep, your life is going to change drastically, etc.

I can say though that when my little brothers were born it really changed my life and made me a much better, less selfish person. I've really enjoyed watching them grow up and spending time with them. It gives you a higher purpose in life and puts things in perspective. I wish you the best and hope everything goes well for you.
