no such thing tbh
yea I've always felt that way even when I was young. Only movie I remember ever being halfway frightening was the original Halloween and that's prolly because I saw it when I was young more than anything else.

I'll check out this emily rose movie. Based on user reviews it might be ok.

I watched In Time last night

I had waited for this movie for sooo long, i'm a huge fan of the director Andrew Niccol.
Very intelligent writer, and has often criticized how dumbed down modern films are.

I felt as if he had dumbed the film down a little to try and reach a wider audience, and the whole character story line seemed to be a typical blockbuster paradigm. However it was still a very watchable and enjoyable film, not as good as some of his previous work but i would still give a 7/10.
Just watched that the other night, I liked it a lot. When I saw it I guess I appreciated it because it had a load of ideas that were kind of clever or unique. I don't really know if futurama is a reasonable comparison in that aspect.. I feel like in order to appreciate Futurama you have to be able to appreciate all of the little ideas that do make their life futuristic. Same goes for this kind of.. The character choices were pretty cool too.

The movie kind of reminded me of Death Note as well. On one side you have a fugitive going around and breaking the laws repeatedly for the greater good but on the other side you have a detective (or a timekeeper he is called) that relentlessly pursues, attempting to stop dem fugitives.

It lacked Olivia Wilde getting naked so I will have to say 7.7 out of 10.

I've never watched UP either. Although I heard so many good things about it. I guess I'll watch that because I love Pixar movies including CARS.

I liked both CARS. I honestly think any movie PIXAR releases its just amazing.

The only PIXAR movie I haven't watched was UP. I thought the new movies like PUSS IN BOOTS was PIXAR.

Sherlock Holmes 2...Went in not expecting much cause I'm not a RDJr fan, but I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't seen the 1st so I can't compare but his performance is pretty good, even though that's not the way I really remember Sherlock Holmes, as was Jude Law's (probably a better performance on his part actually)
The plot was alright I feel like Holmes had half the story figured out by the time Watson stepped into his office so we didn't see much detectivizing, but I laughed often.

Some bits were too predictable such as the scene in the train when they leave that German factory and the fact that fucking Holmes comes back in the end, they shouldn't have done that because that obviously means a sequel's on the way and some stories are better off concluded while they're still young, plus the Watson marriage thing would have allowed for a conclusion to make sense at that point.

7.5/10

but seriously there's nothing good out lately...so much garbage.

up has a fantastic storyline, like anything out of disney :d

haha Hype, thats exactly what I thought. to be fair, nothing can really match Akira's intensity ;)
