This reaction makes me wonder where the current episodes are in relation to the books. Probably not where I think it is, but mb.
a little over halfway through the 3rd book
Joffrey's wedding? xd?

edit: I too got house targaryen. Think that natural disaster question sealed that though

I don't know how to do the spoilers thing, so just a warning, spoilers ahead.

The purple wedding was orchestrated between petyr baelish, olenna tyrell and margaery tyrell. Petyr arranged for dontos the drunk to give a necklace to sansa, and suggest that she wear it to the wedding. She wears it to the wedding, at which point olenna comes up to her and remarks about how nice it is. She reaches out to touch the necklace, and picks off one of the small jewels at the side (which is actually a crystallized poison called the strangler). She keeps the crystal in her hand, walks past the king's table on the way to her own and drops it into margaery's cup. You can audibly hear this drop if you watch the scene in the show. At some point margaery takes the poison from her cup, and puts it in joffrey's as she sets it down so joffrey can cut the huge pie. It was a team effort between petyr, olenna and margaery. If you want to know more about why petyr orchested this and his influence over other events in westeros, I highly suggest reading this:

http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/51015-the-mad-genius-of-petyr-baelish/

If you haven't read the books, you probably shouldn't read this. It's REALLY detailed. Well, if you only watch the show you really won't get to fully appreciate the demonic brilliance of petyr baelish.

Put spoilers on that garbage, or even better, don't post it at all. Why the hell are you trying to spoil it for everyone? You want to impress everyone with the fact that you know how to read a book? You get absolutely nothing from posting that, unless you are really that desperate for acknowledgement on the internet? gtfoh. I hate people who always try to spoil shows for others because they read the source material.

Luckily i stopped reading and nothing i read registered, but still gtfo lol

I did see the spoiler warning, but if you haven't been able to deduce why i said that, it's because of one main reason.

There are two types of spoilers.

1- people who are caught up with the show and wish discuss what happens each episode. These spoilers should have those who are not caught up in mind.

2- people who have read the books and know absolutely everything there is to know.

Almost all of us make the assumption for the first type of spoiler, especially since the OP was made in reference to the TV series and not the books. It would have made sense if he posted that information after today's episode which is supposed to expand on the cliffhanger that was made last week. Only then would the spoiler he spewed fall into the first category and i'd have no qualms with his intended insight. But instead he goes on to tell us the important details of the episode we've been waiting to watch, knowing that we are just about to learn of these details from a preferred source...

You sound ignorant. You would not even be watching these shows without the source material. No where did he sound like he was trying to impress anyone, but instead just add further incite that is not capable of being show in a TV format. Books are far superior anyhow to tv shows as you can read what the characters are thinking. No way to really do that in a tv show/movie.

Yes.. it mentions in passing some things that happened in ADWD.

edit: I meant later on in the thread. If you just read OP, it doesn't include ADWD stuff.

Then explain to me why no one would have ever bothered to make a GOT thread before the show ever aired? One of the main reasons for that is due to the fact that most people either didn't know about or didn't read the books.

I have conjured logical methods to assume what other people are thinking to a degree, unlike what appears to be of yourself and the halfwit people you surrounded yourself with, in terms of simple deductive reasoning.

It's bloody common sense. Do most of the posts with the spoiler tags actually have any spoilers beyond the aired episodes? Maybe you need to read the 400+ posts here to understand how other people are thinking, dip shit rurmidy???

Thank you captain obvious.... He wants to discuss material a chunk of us are not aware of yet. For what? To ponder WITH us on further possible events within the plot? Owait. To discuss which parts of the plot HE spoke of that we all loved the most? Owait...

@eager, you know very well what you are doing lol. and, apparently this isn't even the first time lol (attack on titan)
