really? i thought it was bad/mediocre at best. dorne was a complete waste of screen time this entire season, and that parting line from sandsnake #1 was so fuckin' cringey. i guess they're trying to be consistent and make all the sandsnake scenes god awful. I love u dadd-grrghhrgrrjrhrhrh. *SandSnakeD* you think you want a good girl but you really want a bad pussy you think you want a good girl but you really want a bad pussy you think you want a good girl but you really want a bad pussy and is brienne just a meme? like, are d&d just like "heh, let's have her be just moments away from completing her task only for her to run off or be ridden by or some other maymay." i mean, a lot of people didn't like brienne's chapters because she was wandering around being useless but at least it wasn't a perpetual, lame-ass tease of being right next to a stark girl. curious to see what lf's end game in the show bc like you said in another post, he seemed to have a master plan w/ the vale in the books but now ![]() cersei's scene lasted forever. shame. shame. shame. shame. shame. i get that they can't be/shouldn't be 100 percent faithful to the books, but, man, the more they go off on their own, the more i find their writing to be subpar. "I sAw a shadow with ur f@ce. In the name of Renly, I sentence you to die. *gives stern look* Any Last Words? ? and this is separate from my show hating, but god damn people in king's landing are really dumb. in the books, they're like "Who is this Very large man of the like we've only seen One Other?? Why doesn't he Speak?? Where's Gregor Clegane??" |

bro like tell me who the fuck do i root for? daenerys? naw shes too boring. tyrion? by the looks of how it ended, hes not going to be doin much... arya/sansa? nope. both are doing their own things which i find uninteresting. the only person left for me to root for is the one person they didnt show at all this season and thats bran. but i have a feeling hes going to die as well... |

I posted that comment on the 8th, which was when episode 9 came out. You know nothing. Episode 10 was a huge let down. Not because of the content, but just poor screen writing all around. Too much content and just not enough time. The sand snake stuff is just pointless. Also where was the smoke on Jon's scene? Has me a little worried tbh (book readers will understand this xD). Also those are not Cersei's tits.. Can't fool me. I've seen 300. Edited by eager, Jun 15 2015, 03:42 AM.

Stannis burned his only heir for a sunny day (should have caught a ninetails tbh), lost half his men, all his horses, his witch, sent his number one general away, and was all like fuckit we doin it live! FLYING V, ON ME. I'll stand at the front so I can see everything, prepare the sieg--oh hey they came out to surrender I think? All of his food was burned down by 20 good men. They are making him look completely helpless, which is sad because he's the greatest tactician in the world.

What else is he supposed to say though? Hey guys don't mind my death in episode 10, my contract was renewed and I will be returning in season 6. Even though it is Game of Thrones and characters do die, I do believe that Jon has a greater purpose in this story. Besides, who else would take his POV in the North? I guess we do have Bran's but hes pretty far from humanity right now. Anyways, the timely return of Melisandre back to the wall probably means that Jon will be resurrected and if it doesnt, then damn :[. I've always thought of Jon as the last intrinsically good guy in the show after Ned died 4 seasons ago so it would suck to lose him in the show as well. |

quoting this from esea because it makes sense. "Over the next year, there is going to be a lot of speculation whether Jon Snow is returning next season. they will pull out every trick in the book to convince us that's he's dead. Kit Harrington will do everything to tell us he's moving on with his career. They have to do this. In this era of television, where everything is spoiled or leaked anywhere from 1 hour to 6 months in advance, they have to keep it a secret as much as they can. They will have to throw in as much doubt they can in order for this to be an actual cliffhanger. Just remember he signed a contract and there's about 10 million context clues that say he's alive" I guess these are some context clues he's referring to: Azor Ahai (AKA The Prince who was Promised) -Jon's wounds smoke while Bowen Marsh cries, providing the prophecised salt, and Ser Patrek's bloody, star laden heraldry is in the air above. -When Melisandre looks into her fires for Azor Ahai, she sees only things to do with Jon or snow, which he thinks must just be ash but she sees a possible connection to Jon. -Jon Snow has a dream where he fights the Others with a red sword burning in his hand. -If having the Blood of the Dragon is a prerequisite, if Jon's father is truly Rhaegar, Jon would satisfy that prerequisite. He would be the grandson of Aerys and Rhaella and thus come from their line. -Jon chose his duty to the Night's Watch over his love for Ygritte. He indirectly caused her death by warning Castle Black of the incoming wildling raid. Similar to Azor Ahai sacrificing Nissa Nissa to complete Lightbringer. Jon Targaryen (Rhaegar Targaryen + Lyanna Stark) -Rhaegar and Lyanna disappeared together to the Tower of Joy early in Robert's Rebellion. There, it's believed, Rhaegar leaves a pregnant Lyanna to defend his family's dynasty. -While Robb, Sansa, Bran and Rickon are said to have Tully features (hair color, eyes), Jon and Arya are said to be closer in appearance (which had made Sansa believe Arya was also a bastard like Jon, until her mother put Sansa's theory down). Arya is said to resemble Lyanna. In the same line of comparison with his "siblings"; while all their direwolves are described having dark fur, Jon's, Ghost is white - a color oft associated with Targaryen features. -At the end of Robert's Rebellion, about one year later, Eddard and his companions find three of the Kingsguard at the Tower of Joy: Lord Commander Ser Gerold Hightower, Ser Oswell Whent, and Ser Arthur Dayne. The reasons for their presence and the ensuing fight are unknown, but defending the unborn son of the Heir Apparent would be a good reason to have been posted. The only known survivors of the fight were Eddard himself and Howland Reed. Eddard recalls his sister dying "in a bed of blood," where he made her an unknown promise just before she died. -Further evidence to the truth of this theory in the eighth Eddard chapter of A Game of Thrones, in which Ned contemplates the significance of King Robert's bastards. As he muses, Ned's thoughts drift to Jon Snow, a logical segue, but also to his sister Lyanna Stark, the promise he made her, and to Rhaegar Targaryen, implying some tacit link between the three individuals. -Daenerys' visions in the House of the Undying include an image of Rhaegar with his newborn son Aegon, proclaiming that "there must be a third" because "the dragon has three heads". Given that, according to Jon Connington, Rhaegar's wife Elia was believed infertile after two difficult pregnancies, and that Aegon the Conqueror himself had two wives, it is logical for Rhaegar to have attempted to fulfill the prophecy by having a third child with another woman. -Another of the visions Daenerys sees is the image of a blue winter rose growing from a crack in a wall of ice, filling the air with sweetness. Lyanna was noted by Ned to be fond of winter roses, and he associates them with her death. Jon, who could be the product of Lyanna, is currently at the Wall. but killing everyone is stupid and pointless. it becomes like the tv show zombie nation where they spent 2 seasons building character development just to kill them off and bring out new characters again and the cycle keeps going... if the fire lady melesandre brings back jon, why not bring back ned and rob? and if that happens, the show will be even more dumb. |

The fact the show didn't depict Jon having dreams of Ghost or any of the other details hinting at his ability to warg makes me wonder what will happen. My best theory was that he warged into Ghost right as he was killed, and that the Others would resurrect him at some later point. He would then Warg back into his own body that was a wight, and boom you have another coldhands. The fact that Mel is there makes me hope it's not just some simple "lel rezd u fgt" trope. |

Oh and I'm Loling at the Sansa fangrills who thought she would become a player. "Such courage to marry Ramsay, much wow". Now she's running away after being mercilessly beaten/raped. Was that part of her plan too? Lol |

Doesn't GoT have a thing for appealing to people with 'justice' (i.e. a character that many people hate for being fucked up, ends up getting tortured, humiliated, or dying a painful death)? That logic doesn't entirely apply to Sansa but I imagine if somebody in the show has been kept down and has had everything working against her, despite not being an evil bitch, that ever-prevailing justice might bring her up a peg or two eventually. |
