I was watching the draft late last night, i was disgusted how players are treated, look at Lebron James, the NBA is fucking terrible it takes a good sport wrecks it and sets it up using dumb college morons and has no respect for them and the worst thing is they sit there and take it because they are getting paid to. The whole thing is a charade of bullshit why do you watch it?.
wtf? why are you so angry. not trying to troll i'm really interested, i thought the draft was awesome
Which part did you find awesome, the part where one of the commentators couldn't pronounce the guy from Lithuania's name? Or the part where he turned around and said right after it "why are they clapping they already know what teams they are going to, oh it's because the cameras are there" and shrugs his hand. Or maybe the part where they constantly degraded Williams or whoever it was who went to Cleveland by constatly bringing up Lebron James talking about "void" this or void that" Or how about the part where they were relating international players in their own light to "Pau Gasol" Or maybe it was the part where the questions they asked the players were complete lies and the kids who had trouble speaking English gave it away by contradicting the questions? Or maybe it was the part where they sat there talking about these poor kids like they were complete pieces of shit right in front of them and subjecting them to 3 hours of bullshit in front of cameras for morons like you, i am very good at reading body language and not one of them players wanted to be there and you could see they were hating being subjected to it. There was more that's just off the top of my head, maybe i am the only one who notices things like that or maybe it's just because you are an American and you guys just have not had any real sports to be fans of, Espn and the entire NBA is a crock of shit sorry to break it to you.
hahaha yea not being able to pronounce his name was funny

and there were a lot of surprises, not 1 or 2 of course but based on the 4 mock drafts i was very surprised to see where people ended up. I agree it was probably a pain in the ass for them to wait so long but at the same time did you see how kemba walker was moved to tears? it's an amazing moment for all of them. I guess you can choose to look at it like they are being exploited like that but I don't see it that way.

o and by real sports do you mean soccer and cricket? if so l0l
Was his arrogant response to not being able to pronounce his name by dissing the NBA funny? They were not surprises, do you honestly think it was drafted right there and then or something and the players just happened to be sitting there? Are you that ignorant? The players teams and everything is setup and it's obvious. I didn't see anyone reduced to tears but it wouldn't surprise me the stupidity of some of the players you know the ones who struggle to say more then two words without saying uhmm durrr hurr. It is not amazing and they are not nearly given the credit they should be getting the fact is half of them kids couldn't speak English yet they were made to go up there and make themselves look stupid. Cricket? No Soccer, yes. I can see how the most popular sport in the world where players get paid more then NBA players could even dream of and players get treated like gods and if they don't they can just go to another country where they will.
i agree on the part about making themselves look stupid i felt really bad for jonas valanciunas he could barely get a word out cuz he could hardly speak english =/ it may not have been a surprise among esoteric groups like the GM's and the teams themselves, but to the average person watching who could only base where people would end up on mock drafts (which was very different) yes, yes there were a few surprises. and i'm american so i don't consider soccer a sport :)
Wow your fucking stupidity amazes me.
u mad?

i think cleveland should have taken derrick williams and tried to go for kemba walker or brandon knight at the 4th pick =/ OH WELL

Yeah okay.

The NBA's championship-winning game for the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday was seen by nearly 24 million people, leading ABC to its most-watched week during the slow summer season in nearly 10 years.

The World Cup finale drew the biggest-ever U.S. audience for a soccer match, with a total of 24.3 million viewers

Looks like more people watched the soccer world cup finals in the US then they did the NBA finals, not bad for not being a sport in America.

ESPN and whoever else is behind your sports can't fix soccer and advertise it every 2 minutes though so it will never be seen as popular.

That's because the World Cup comes every 4 years not annually. Seriously, I don't think Con is the ignorant one here. Soccer might not be popular where Con lives but in the midwest to the east coast, its very popular around here.

Its just a draft. Relax you psychotic fuckhead.

Obviously you failed to read but that's US history bro how does 700 million sound?

COLOGNE, Germany (Hollywood Reporter) - Spanish broadcasters said Ole! to record ratings as nearly 17 million fans watched the country's one-nil victory over the Netherlands in the finals of football's World Cup, part of about 700 million viewers estimated to have caught the match on small screens worldwide.

Some 16.8 million Spaniards -- 91 percent of the TV audience -- caught the highlight of the match, when Andres Iniesta rocketed in the winning goal in extra time giving Spain its first-ever World Cup win. On average 15.6 million people in Spain, 86 percent of the audience, watched on the three channels broadcasting the match, an all-time average record, according to ratings agency Barlovento Comunicacion.

Similarly in the Netherlands, 91 percent of the TV audience tuned into public broadcaster NOS as their Orange-mantled team failed in its third World Cup final. An average of 8.5 million Dutch caught the match, with millions more watching in pubs and public squares across the country. (Spain's population is 46 million vs. 17 million for the Netherlands.)

Though final figures aren't available, soccer's governing body FIFA estimates around 700 million people watched the final live. If that is correct, the match would beat out the estimated 600 million that caught the opening ceremony at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and would be on par, or slightly above, the 700 million that watched the World Cup final four years ago.

You know the sad thing? probably more then half of the 100 million who watched the super bowl (i was one of them) they only watched it to see what dumb commercials would be exploiting the game this year.

Somewhere around there yeah lets face it it's the best part of the superbowl as sad as that is, the halftime show can't even do better then the Black eyed Peas after the highlight of a wardrobe malfunction.

but youre a retard for thinking that half of the viewers were only watching for commercials
I just looked up the real stats and that website is wrong actually the highest ranked show ever in the US is the season fianle of MASH with 50 million views in 1983.

THE NFL IS WHERE ITS AT DAWGS ~L@L~

in b4 red-i posts another fucking stat about worldwide people watching soccer

If that is correct, the match would beat out the estimated 600 million that caught the opening ceremony at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and would be on par, or slightly above, the 700 million that watched the World Cup final four years ago.
soccer is still gay

That's because the World Cup comes every 4 years not annually. Seriously, I don't think Con is the ignorant one here. Soccer might not be popular where Con lives but in the midwest to the east coast, its very popular around here.

Its just a draft. Relax you psychotic fuckhead.
I am relaxed? and soccer is not popular in Michigan LOL
I live in Michigan. I would know. Around here, hockey and soccer is the thing.
I've lived in Michigan too, Detroit and Flint and Ludington, The only reason soccer and hockey is popular where you live is because your a rich boy and you live in the suburbs and sports consist of desperate housewives and minivans ditching their kids so they can bang the milkman.
