Posts: 855 Group: Warrior Member #2,635 Joined: August 3, 2011	So.. I was playing Halo on my comp and for some reason my comp acted up on me and decides to change the graphics for my game. My Desktop: 1.8Ghz AMD Sempron 3100+ (Single Core) 1 GB Ram nVidia 8400GS PCI (NOT PCI-e!!!) Running Windows XP. This problem only seems to happen on XP, in Windows Vista or 7 this problem doesnt occur but i can Barely play with 30 FPS and a really bad frame lag where it drops to 3FPS every second. when i try playing for like 5 minutes it drops the frame to 0 then messes up into this: http://screenshot.xfire.com/s/116403305-4.jpg. After that it turns into a large pink screen or into something even more messed up like this: http://screenshot.xfire.com/s/106571048-4.jpg In the end after continuing it gives me a Blue Screen and dies. lol... Any idea on how to fix this? Would really appreciate it. This problem is the only thing thats not allowing me to record/play, meaning, no HPT. sadface.

Posts: 855 Group: Warrior Member #2,635 Joined: August 3, 2011	This issue was with the latest drivers for the video card and for the card overheating again it doesnt seem to happen on a different OS. :\|

	arcade Jun 2 2010, 08:24 AM blade you can post screenshots of you beating people like louie in 1v1s as much as you want (seriosly with your sound, set up, and stopwatch you shouldnt lose a 1v1) but it doesnt change the fact that he is 20x the player you are.

Posts: 855 Group: Warrior Member #2,635 Joined: August 3, 2011	You would be surprised lol. I ran Vista, 7, Ubuntu, XP. I played/beat Crysis Warhead with 15 FPS the entire game and 5 FPS on the last level on that comp. Had it for 8 Years now still going and Grylon you already have me added >.<

Posts: 354 Group: Warrior Member #1,785 Joined: December 23, 2009	It's because you skinned your halo, I can tell by your modded health bar, dont do that shit is mad ugly also don't take any advice from spewf (grylon) because he just buys pre-made overpriced garbage. your best bet is to go to www.newegg.com and buy all the parts and assemble it yourself, you save money and get better hardware.

This problem is the only thing thats not allowing me to record/play, meaning, no HPT. sadface. what you did is you corrupted your bitmaps by installing too many skins/not installing proper skins with the proper dxt in the right tags shit like that what you should do is back up your map folder and reinstall everything when its corrupted

I didnt use any skins. and i even reformatted my hard drive, installed new drivers AND didnt mod anything in halo. This is fresh off the bat and it still gives me this. at one time i was playing and the screen turned into the normal skin of a pistol. :\|
