If you don't believe that you're in denial. Anyway the only people who think Invents are better is people that still have been inventing for 21012010 years now

You probably hate on invents because you were ostracized from the many vents I used to play in, or are just a hated player in general and crawl into the HPT hole as an attempt to gain respect. Of course, we do HPT sometimes, but my team literally played like 10 games the whole month - and on top of that, we got ugly mexicans point pushing and trolling the forums. Competitive edge does not equate to fun. oh lawd... getting a first place warrior ranking just translates into how much that person played. the last time i played in one of your invents you called me a cheater for a pretty substantial portion of the game, i havent had to deal with that in hpt for years. the last few times i played in one of those invents we played one map, during which people afk'd, constantly quick spawned then everyone quit the server afterward. instead of waiting another 20 minutes to play another map, i usually opt to leave. also, i don't think any talented player has viewed pugs/invents as anything significant since kw/ufa vent closed but they're worth a laugh every now and then. and as far as competitive edge goes in terms of relating to fun, you know you're posting on a league forum, right? most of the people came here as a result of looking for competition... i'm not sure where you got the impression that i'm a hated player or that i'm on some quest for respect but you're wrong on both accounts. to further expand on you being wrong, invents aren't "obviously" a "better environment to play halo" evidenced by the fact that this thread has turned into an argument. but feel free to play halo however you prefer, just don't act like its new metagame

I wanted to HPT yesterday but couldnt since the team we were going to play got another match. I'm still able to play in college but very limited. Probably on Saturdays if there's no parties and Sunday night if I have all my shit done for the week. I might just use this as motivation to get my work done so I can play a few, lol. I'm such a procrastinator though.

LOL fuck you. but seriously i play in a lot of invents when there are no hpt's, they usually end in the middle of the 2nd game when the losing team singles out 1 person to blame (especially hilarious because everyone else is as bad/worse) and he leaves, so they all leave, or randomly whoever is upset at losing and happens to have vent admin RANDOMLY DECIDES TO REPICK TEAMS. shits annoying and not worth it unless there are HPT's to play.
