well cuz invents are more active then hpts.

In invents, people have fun and play all together as one and no1 is sat out.

In hpts, people want to play for the win and only play with good/certain people only, which is why less people want to hpt because they tend to get sat out due to their skill level.

AND tbh there isnt shit sam and no1 can do, halo will always be either active or inactive. You cant make people get on computer when they are at school/work/busy. This game will always have its up and downs, but as long as you make the best of it. which i always do and try to, it makes this game fun even with a small group of people that play now.

If sam added a prize i am SURE. MORE people will play as in for invents


invents are jokes... half of them cheat half of them suck and mostly everyone doesn't know how to play in rainys/i2d vent.

Why not get a group of friends, create a team and don't get sat out.

Dude, if they made prizes involved then it will make it competitive again, which will just make people sit out who arent a certain skill level or certain player that only plays with them certain group.

Even the team 1,2,3, shit will work only for 1 week, but then fail cuz people wont get along with each other and make the bad people sit out..

really alll the good players of halo are killing it.

which is y all bad players stick to invents/scrims and will continue to until decent players cant learn to compromise.

If there is a prize, more people will want to play in order to obtain said prize. Your argument that you would get sat out is a fallacy. What is stopping you from creating a team? Look, you're going to get destroyed when you start out with whatever team you play. But guess what? So did everyone else here that plays including the "elite players" you say are killing the game. We've all been where you are, but we learned from our mistakes instead of quitting.

The idea of the prize is supposed to motivate you to want to get better, instead of settling for 'having fun' in an uncompetitive setting.

and im not talkin just about my self. i can go 2 my xfire ritenow and see tons of people that play halo daily but arent involved in any of hpts because they never get a chance.

partially why you have this problem, we shouldnt have to baby newer players all the time in order to get them involved in halo.

a. there arent even that many "good" players left

b. when we started playing we played against all the good players when we were shitty (not that im not still) and thats how we got better

c. if they dont want to get better then they can continue with their scrims/invents, we cant force them to play hpts lol

But sometimes the good players dont give them a chance to play in hpts, which is why they rather just keep playing in invents/scrims and have funs rather then geting yelled by or shit in hpts.

All you ideas are gona fail, until u relieaze that you need new players to get invloved in hpt also. They dont fail, they just get to much pressure on them and one mistake gets them yelled at....i know. LOL been ther, done that,...but yeh u wont be able to get this game going with the only 20-30 people in the league that you consider good that still play UNACTIVELY/OCCASSIONALY.
