This is the problem, you think you are on a level playing field, that somehow our 'believes' are no different when reduced. Let me further explain how stupid it is to ask someone to prove something doesn't exist; To prove that i have cockroaches in my house all i have to do is find one at any time. To prove that i don't have cockroaches in my house, i have to look in every single area at the same time. How easy it is to look everywhere at the same time? Not easy, proving a negative is a ridiculous claim, and it holds no weight in arguments. Secondly you identify the problem without even realizing it. Do you answer tests simply by how you feel? What about people whose feelings contradict your own, and their feelings simply deceiving them? In terms of morality, i think it is completely immoral to decide what is morally right simply by how people feel. I could really care less what you believe, that isn't necessarily what i think it stupid. What i generally find to be stupid is the reasons and justifications for why you believe it. But anyway lets get down to specifics, what if your specific religion, why exactly (if you can answer) do you feel it to be right? also lol at sam, his video summarized; You Christians need to "remain calm and helpful in our pagan society", because when everyone is judged in the rapture those filthy atheists will get whats coming to them. I had struggled with it for years and knew about many of the fallacies already posed to me by you. Unfortunately I was in a situation where I was smothered by parents who, when I brought these questions to them, came up with bullshit responses that now I can see are quite asinine. I had always considered the possibility he didn't exist, but never was brave enough to come forward and embrace them I guess. Also www.reddit.com/r/atheism helped me more than the arguments here did. I think finally understanding the concept of evolution helped tremendously (I came to these forums roughly around the time I was taking General Bio my first year in uni). But again to reiterate I was never as full blown religious like he was.

Yet i find hope in it. The enlightnement era, or historical church(s) were probably fairly evil! Dont imagine you can judge God by human terms!
